Amir Khan - Charity dinner on Saturday in London

Thought I should make you aware that Amir Khan will be attending a charity dinner in London on Saturday 17 September. I'm not sure if you'll be able to meet him, but it's only £30 and all of the proceeds go to help the people of Somalia.

I know you say it's in aid of Somalis but last week some poor, naive African ended up getting his most valuable thing taken off him by four white men all displaying the scary gang affiliation 'BBBoC' on their shirts 8)

Il probably got put down&slated,but this is what pisses me of about this country we send £££ to Somalia who are kidknapping many people from other countries&our very own country..The UK is in recession but we still send shit loads of cash abroad..Im not racist,but sort are country out first

You are entitled to your opinion but there are human beings starving to death in Somalia at the moment and other countries in that region too, there are many reasons why thats happening but just have some humanity for your fellow man and woman as for me there is only one race, the human race.

We as a world have it within our means to easily feed the world 10 times over but due to profit, greed and corporations it's the very poorest in this world that get screwed over the most especially as most of the countries that govern them are corrupt as hell which is no small part because of the actions of this country.

Sure this country isn't perfect but we're a long way from needing aid or charity, just be thankful you were lucky enough to be born in one of the 'chosen' countries.

It's organised by an Islamic charity, so I'm afraid it's unlikely that alcohol will be served.
