You lost but you gave it beans which is all we wanted. Great effort mate, think you'd have had him if you'd been more active.

Unlucky fella.

Superb effort from Jeff, hope this performance opens up a few more doors for him in terms of fights, he certainly deserves it off that showing. Would be an exciting little undercard fighter.

should move down to 147

Well done Jeff. I think you'll get Masters and area title shots on the back of this and they are thoroughly deserved.

Enjoyed the fight and Jeff made a really good account of himself. Well done fella, unlucky to have gone out, but a draw was the fair result.

Will it class officially as a loss or a draw?

Thanks a lot lads! Glad I did you guys proud and thanks for the kind words! The above is a sticking point at the moment - I was told at the conclusion by John wish that it would be marked as a draw on my record, but when I spoke to rob smith he told me it would be a loss!

This I don't accept- call it pride or stupidity but the rules state that three judges will make a decision and thus they arrived at a draw - no where in the rules does it state there will be a fourth adjudicator and whilst I accept his pretty ridiculous score card it should have no bearing on my record as it was not in the rules! I wasn't bothered as I felt kris deserved to go through anyway but pride won't let me have a loss on my record when I did not lose!

Not bitter or anything but just want the fair result to be shown

Well done Mate :TU:

Its down on your record as a Draw.......... Also says Agyei-Dua progressed to the semi-final by virtue of the referee's casting vote, But it is down as a Draw ...

You deserve the draw on your record. As on here, you conducted yourself wonderfully in the build up and most importantly on fight night. I thought he was too big for you but you bit down and let the windmill go. A great ambassador for boxing forums, well done Jeff.

Yeah, I sh1t myself when I saw how much bigger than Jazzy the other chap was.

I almost did my back in leaping in the air when Jeff landed that left hook! :TU:

You tried your best mate - on reflection, not only was he very good for a novice, you were out of your weight class.

Well done, son.
