David Haye blabbering cr@p again...
Re: David Haye blabbering cr@p again...
Maybe not, but how do you know?
Re: David Haye blabbering cr@p again...
I agree it's not as simple as that, but I do think Haye has lost a lot of his 'hunger' now - he's set on making it in movies etc and is incredibly comfortable thanks to his earnings. The main attraction of the Vitali fight will be the size of the payday, but of course he's a proud man so there'll be the issue of redemption.keithmoonhangover wrote:Let me get this straight, Haye trained all his life in the knowledge that when he made it to the top that he would fight for the money only.... don't be daft man.Nigel1001 wrote:HAYE WILL BAIL!
His little toe took away his game plan.
Booth will pull him out against Vitali.
Is one thing to be throwing back when fighting someone who is 6ft 1 and a cruiserweight.
Its another thing to hang inthere against a 6ft 8 hard hitting mean giy like Vitali who will punish you round after round without you getting a shot in.
Haye will bail!
His toe stopped him against Wlad, he will not like getting whacks from Vitali!
HAYE IS IN IT FOR THE CASH!

Who did Haye KO with 1 punch since moving up to HW? just curious...and Wlad didn't push much Haye was falling to the ground like a bitch.carlbcfc wrote:Raff The Frenchman wrote:Cool story brahcarlbcfc wrote:What's wrong with that? He is faster, more agile, harder to hit, and arguably has more one punch KO power. Wlad did also hug & throw him down. The rest is just baiting Vitali to get the fight on.
So I made this up then? Quote me where I am wrong...

I had hoped against hope that Haye would return to form for the Wlad fight but it was not to be, his performances since Mormeck onwards had shown him progressively decline technique-wise. His best form since that one came in the win over Valuev, he at least waved the left about a bit, and really started to unravel during the win over Ruiz, he Orson Welles’d it in that fight.
This said, I would get very excited if Vitali-Haye was made.

Hayes punching power at heavyweight is still very good. He Ko'd Thomas Bronin in 1 round, stopped John Ruiz, Ko'd Michael Barrett (which David Tua couldn't do, twice), badly wobbled the man montain Valuev, and flattened Harrison, a big man himself, however cautious.Haye just couldn't close the distance to get to Wlad ror a sustained attack.Raff The Frenchman wrote:Who did Haye KO with 1 punch since moving up to HW? just curious...and Wlad didn't push much Haye was falling to the ground like a bitch.carlbcfc wrote:Raff The Frenchman wrote: Cool story brah

Maybe, just maybe and I realise I am going out on a limb here, Haye is just saying these things to engineer a fight. I realise that this almost never happens in the Boxing world................................
If these are new quotes, he's playing the PR game all wrong.
He simply can't get away with this anymore.
He needs to admit his performance was an absolute crock and say he isn't going to make promises this time but it's a fight for redemption, etc.
If he carries on like this, we're all going to be with TMK and buying it in the hope he gets iced.
Oh, hang on...![]()
Seriously though...he needs to walk the walk again (difficult given the toe) before he talks the talk. He's going to become a laughing stock if he doesn't watch it.
He probably has privately. I agree he came across like a tool and trhe fight and his performannce made him look silly.
However I find it hard to get 'offended' by a fighter talikng smack in order to get a fight
