...and it says a lot about those bums at sky that they don't even bid for a fight involving the sport's P4P no#1, and instead serve up to their gullible customers cut rate crap such as prizefighter instead.earsjohn wrote:I concur.MightyWarrior wrote:So they're showing both bills, Akvarez too ? Looks a bargain, thank god for primetime, I'll be getting this
Thank God for PrimeTime winning the rights to a fight Sky are guaranteed to have shown on normal Sky Sports, in shiny HD, with full previews and a slick presentation. And Thank God they are charging us not-at-all gullible boxing fans £15 for the privilege of letting them do so.
Will we ever learn?

Is Pacquiao v Marquez III not on Sky? I hadn't heard.MightyWarrior wrote:...and it says a lot about those bums at sky that they don't even bid for a fight involving the sport's P4P no#1, and instead serve up to their gullible customers cut rate crap such as prizefighter instead.earsjohn wrote:I concur.MightyWarrior wrote:So they're showing both bills, Akvarez too ? Is it not more likely that PrimeTime bid more knowing that they would put in on as a PPV thus generating more revenue than a "free to air" outing on normal Sky?
Sky have shown all of Floyds recent fights and all bar the Hatton fight were on normal, non PPV sky.
Personally I'd prefer to watch up to 7 competitive fights across 3 hours during an evening in HD than pay £15 to watch 3 fights as competitive as Audley v Haye and one fight marginally less so in the middle of the night on an SD feed. If I'm gullible for that, then I can't argue.

I far prefer watching it ive on HBO and also haveing the choice to watch all the other fights at the same time in sperate windows on my TV.
Can you believe that they pay 69 bucks for a fight in the US?
Serioulsy though I prefer watching live on HBO and I wont give Sky my cash as I hate them with a passion, btw did you read my post about Sky using boxinf fans as guinea pigs?
Re: Primetime this weekend
it's not on sky you gobshite
Re: Primetime this weekend
In fairness I dont think we can blame Sky for this one. It's a GBP promotion, and remember Sky "turned their back on the Golden Boy family" when they had the audacity to refuse to put a crap Bill on PPV.

Re: Primetime this weekend
How much is the registration/one off fee for Primetime? Don't wanna pay £15 then get tucked up with another £10 on top as I haven't subscribed before!
Re: Primetime this weekend
Cheers! £2.50's not bad at all...
Re: Primetime this weekend
Based on what? Warren hasn't even come out and claimed responsibility for allegedly. Clev v Bellew will be on normal Sky and Fwank will have to suck it up that he's not getting PPV bucks for it.Nigel1001 wrote:Terrrrry wrote:How much is the registration/one off fee for Primetime? £2.50 one off fee.
This is a better card than the Cleverley Bellew card that I think will be on allegedly!
Re: Primetime this weekend
Can this PPV be recorded?
If not I won't bother.

Thanks for the reply. It doesn't mention Virgin though. None of these companies seem to care about Virgin customers.G0mez wrote: http://www.primetimelive.co.uk/news/unc ... -with-sky/ Yes if ordered through the box office via your box.
