I'm looking forward to this fight. Price is kidding himself if he thinks Fury has nothing on him. It's going to be a very good match up.

Price has far better developed skills than Fury, and a lot more punch power.

Price would annihilate Fury at this stage
Re: David Price "I'm on a different level to Tyson Fury."
Fair enough and I agree but after Tyson's last two fights on Channel 5 the general public know who Tyson is. I got six texts from guys at work who don't normally watch boxing during the Fury fight saying it was great action. The general public don't know who Price is so Tyson against anyone else who appears to be a step up will do for the public now. As long as Tyson keeps making it exciting.Camcas wrote:Price walks through Fury it wouldn't be too hard for Price

Fury is far more proven than Price as a professional.jamesmcdonnell wrote:In which department precisely?Horse wrote:He is on a lower level than Fury.

Let's see how Price does against McDermott before hyping him up, because as of now his skills have not been proven against anyone who is up to much.

What has Price done in his pro career so far that makes you think he will 'walk through' Fury?Camcas wrote:Price walks through Fury it wouldn't be too hard for Price

He's certainly demonstrated more power and better ring intelligence.
Re: David Price "I'm on a different level to Tyson Fury."
True, but Fury has demonstrated more balls and sturdiness.

I am a fan of both.. Price is probably packing more punch power but it would help if someone taught Fury how to punch! lol
But baring that in mind Price couldnt get Daniel Peret out of there!
Fury has deffo proven his heart and chin so far...suppose we should see how Price gets on with McDermott first eh?
Either way its gonna be a great fight when they get it on!

Surly David Price at his age should start fighting live opponents before we make a judgment on whether hes ready for a decent fight yet ?
Lets see Price get hit with a five punch combo like Fury did and whether the storm and come back and KO the guy like Fury did Saturday :)

Fight that has to happen somewhere down the line, sooner rather than later.
Re: David Price "I'm on a different level to Tyson Fury."
I have always felt Price was a level above Fury. The beating of Chisora who only barely turned up does not suggest to me that Fury has improved significantly
Re: David Price "I'm on a different level to Tyson Fury."
Dallas is as good as anyone Tyson has fought! Also the yank he boxed was supposed to be a good kid! Pricey makes good people look ordinary and he'll do the same to Fury! I base it on what I've seen and what I think I know, David will take Fury to a place he's never been ![[icon_wink.gif] ;-)](./images/smilies/icon_e_wink.gif)

I think Price KO's Fury though, and earlier than a lot of people think. I'm not convinced Tyson Fury's chin is as good as it is being made out.

Re: David Price "I'm on a different level to Tyson Fury."
Fury has no doubt faced better opponents, but Price looks stylistically far better. The manner in which he took out Dallas was highly impressive, and he is much more solid technically. Better defence, better punch picking, and far far better punch delivery.
The one aspect where Fury as advantage is movement and handspeed. However, the handspeed is partly because he doesn't throw much bodyweight behind his shots.
Price is also, WAY better conditioned.
