I offered to fight Omar and was told he won't be ready october 28. Also offered to fight broadhurst on that date. Don't mind promoters looking after there boys but it's a bit rich that on another forum red corner were saying I wouldn't fight Trent what they failed to mention I had already agreed to fight Nadar. Every body goes on about the prestige of the austalian title and I agree with them. But the champions never fight the highest rated contender. If Omar fights Leroy on 28 th October I'll be disappointed because I'm rated higher than Leroy and was ready to fight but on that date but have been left out in the cold.

Daniel after your fight against Nader you should retire mate if you couldn't beat a 38 year old there's nothing left.

Don't worry about your next fight.

Enjoy at least what you achieved I admit I'm crap compared to you.

Thanks for the advice chump. But if every boxer retired every time they lost there would not be many boxers left.

Maybe you should say that to Jean Pascal who lost to a 45 year old

Probably Mansfield Tavern. Angelo will most likely release full card at some stage next week

Mansfield Tavern seems to generate atmosphere that other venues can't. Maybe due to nightclub & not function room decor?

The Mansfield Tavern is a great place to watch live boxing, especially when "The Cyclone" is fighting he really brings a vocal crowd with him as does Omar. There isn't a bad view in the whole place and it's within walking distance of my place so that's always a bonus :D

Was there last time out, great show and the atmosphere electric, Brutal night of boxing....brutal!

Di Carlo has the ability to match these very watchable fights and Chris McCullen's stable are real crowd pleaser's.

If you've hummed and ha'ad, seriously shell out $50 bucks, drink some piss and have a look at some of the best talent going around, being sober last time there i was dying to have a few and join in, but i had to cover the fight and do a report. I will say this, some very, very lovely women there, and i'm not talking about the card girls, or go-go dancers and an abundance.

Nader is not just another 38 year old mate.
Agreed, Nader will be fit and has a great deal of experience, far from a washed up 38 year old. A win over him is still a feather in anyone's hat.

What s rich about red corner saying that?trents offer to you was for the 16th of this month which would have given you 8 weeks to prep after the Nader fight.

How ever at the time you did hold a regional title so i guess it made sense that you didnt want an aussie title shot perhaps believing in yourself to prevail over Nader...Which leads me to ask you, if Omar and Trent already have opponents arranged for next month, why dont you hit Nader up for a rematch if you believe you were hard done by in your first encounter with him which imo Nader clearly had your number

You read the post wrong mate. It was before the Nadar fight that they offered me Trent I had already agreed to fight Nadar. I offered to fight Trent for oz title but they went with clenshaw and Trent got injured. So I said I'll fight the winner and since I posted this I have spoken to Angelo and he wants Omar to fight someone else first. Look Angelo is a good bloke and is good for oz boxing I was just letting people know that there is not a super middle in Australia I wouldn't fight except bika as we share the same trainer and at the moment he is a level or 2 above the rest of us Aussie super miiddle's. As for Nadar is concerned any time. I have offered his camP on numerous occasions first he pulicly said no in the daily telegraph and then asked for $20k no promoter is willing to pay him that much the ball is in his court.

You train with Bika? I thought he must have semi-retired as he has only 2 fights in 2 years and one was the Mendy farce.

Is he going to be fighting anytime soon? I love watching Sakio fight and think if he fought more he could cause some serious troublke for the current champs at SMW

He was going to fight in October here in Australia he wants to get a tune up then maybe one last tilt. He is very dangerous and I agree he should be more busy but since the ward fight he has been out injured until now.

Unfortunately Bika was under contract with the contender series they had him tied in for a couple of years not sure if it has expired now.

Had his belt but decked the guy while he was on nearly one knee unlucky.

Firstly bika v mendy was not for a belt it was an ibf eliminater and secondly the contender contract was over 3years ago he was released from it as where all the contender fighters thirdly you don't know shit about boxing!
