allegedly'S first LIVE promotion will see the exciting championship contest between Liam Walsh and Paul Appleby from the spiritual home of boxing in London's east end at York Hall. This is for the Commonwealth Super-Featherweight Championship next Friday 30th September at 7.30pm.

TIME IT'S PERSONAL will come LIVE and exclusive from the world famous Royal Albert Hall on Friday 7th October when the winning team will be presented with the Royal Albert Hall Cup.

Hot talent Frankie Gavin, Britain's only ever World Amateur Champion, completes a trailblazing month on allegedly when he defends his WBO Intercontinental Welterweight title on Friday 28th October against the number four world rated Deigo Gabriel Scaves.

A November to remember on allegedly will continue with more LIVE big fights, kicking off with Ricky Burns WBO Interim World Lightweight Title fight against Michael Katsidis on Saturday 5th November from Wembley; on a big night, George Groves defends his British and Commonwealth Super Middleweight titles against the former champion Paul Smith, plus unbeaten prospect Ryan Walsh takes on Liam Richards for the Vacant English Super-Bantamweight title. Great for guys like Gavin now to top their own bill, rather than by 3rd or 4th on a big show. Huge jump in number of live shows on TV.

Admittedly the first couple of months have some good quality fighters in what on paper at least are competetive matches, but my fear remains that allegedly is just trying to lure everyone in with a couple of months of good free to air boxing.

I suspect that when it goes to a monthly subscription you will be asked to sign up for 12 months and then you are tied in and with fights made at approx 2 months notice you will have no way of knowing the quality you will be receiving going forward. I would then expect it to revert to the usual FW shows with fighters padding out there records against journeyman with the odd decent American show thrown in.

The lineup for October would appear to be worth a £10 monthly fee, but I'm extremely sceptical of the quality being kept up going forward

99% of casual fans won't give toss about this. This is designed to appeal to the hardcore fanbase. Charging 10 quid, when as others have said, they have all the Sky Sports channels and pay for other stuff, is a bit of a liberty. Especially given the matching of FW and Dean Powell.

A few appitiezers then the usual one sided Prospect vs Someone with not chance of winning.

Nah, sorry, doesn't appeal to me.
