13.1 miles: 1:52:48

Ran a half marathon last year. I was hoping for a time nearer the 1hr 40min mark but my inexperience told as I started too fast and was struggling hard in the end. Didn't do one this year but I'm signing up for the same half marathon and a full one next year - I've gotta smash my old time! :D

In terms of actual PBs, I managed 5.45 for the mile, but that was a loooooooong time ago! Never been a good runner. Only done one half-marathon and that was two-and-a-half years ago and I was around the 1hr 46mins mark. Biggest issue was the boredom!

Don't mean to be offensive, mate. :TU:

It's just that if your fastest mile time is 9.12 and you're fastest 2 miler is 18.20, then your mile time should be lower. If I was you, I'd get out there and smash that mile time to pieces. You've proven you can beat it because one of your 2 mile spilts would beat 9.12 already. I reckon you could get close to 8 mins for the mile.

Interesting, my PBS for my runs are as follows.

1.5mile Military fitness test: 9 minutes

3mile cross country: 22 minutes

10km road: 50 minutes

I am eager to do a Marathon next year and hope to do it under 4 hours, i get bored though so i'm hoping my mate will do it too.
