From the archives of JET magazine(Boxing photographs)
Jet magazine has published a lot of interesting photographs of boxers and action boxing
photos over the last 60 years.
I came acrossa number of them while searching unrelated topics there, and now I cant find a lot of them because I did not book mark the page.Anyway I thought
for now whenever I came across an interesting or uusual boxing related photo
while searching back issuesI will nowremember to take the time to post a link
to it in this thread.
Anyone else here is welcome to do it to in this thread ,as long as it is from a back issue of JET of course.

Check out this rare posed photo of Jerry Quarry and Earnie Shavers
from JET magaine July.19.1973.
I recognized Quarry right away but it took a few seconds to register that
it was Shavers next to him.
Man,did Shavers look scary even with some hair on his head!
This photo was taken before the fight that was originally scheduled for July.25.1973 but was later rescheduled for December
1973.
