The Queensbury Boxing League.

Post by Craig14 »

Is it professional boxing or is it unlicensed? I see Ross Minter runs it and they've signed a deal with Premier sports.
They had a show in Epsom last weekend and it's due to be shown on friday on Premier sports. Can someone explain to me what it's all about? :TU:

It's referred to as 'Semi - Pro'

I've seen a few people say on here there's no such thing but I've seen a lot of unlicensed, white collar shows and this is by a long way the best. It's as close to being professional as you can get

Its run well, match ups are competitive and all fighters are researched well

I heard about it from David Walker and was in the corner for his fighters bouts. Also, we was with Matt Marsh's team

Worth a watch

I've only seen the last two because one of Dave's fighters has appeared on both

What shows did you see and who was fighting?

Struggling with surnames without checking , but seen a few on a show at canvey island , think it was a meanmachine one , and another one at bath city football club , in which ive then see them on queensbury posters recenty , Lee Selves ??? is that surname right ?? i think thats what one was called , and he was really bad too but still won the fight i saw him in .
In all honesty i dont generally use too many lads from London and surrounding area , and i think thats where a lot of these queensbury lads are from .

The majority seem from Surrey, Sussex and outer London

On the last show I heard a fella flew in from Ireland

There were 1 or 2 fighters who should have never been in the ring. I know all of the fighters from our gym were watched sparring and told whether they would be up to the standards the promotors wanted

What are your shows called Damian?
