Boxa Promotions

Post by franko1990 »

Is anyone in their right mind actually going to pay $50 for this PPV, it has to be one of Boxa Internationals weakest cards that I can remember. This card barely rates as on FNF on Fox not a PPV.

All Boxa is doing is manipulating the gullibility of the Australian PPV public to a persuasive con-artist (Mundine).

Mundine is sucking in the PPV punters in the hope of them seeing him get KO'd. But he is cunning enough to continue the pretense by fighting palookas!

Was it P T Barnum who said "There is a sucker born every minute"? Sounds like Boxa work on the same principle.

He’s had 46 fights now, if people don’t know what there getting by now. They either have to much money or not enough cents.

Looks like the tickets and PPV sales are slow as a wet week as Mundine carries on like a pork chop trying to drum up interest in a week where other sports dominate: STORY HERE

Here! You can't go comparing a good Muslim to a pork chop! If you see a bloke on a pushbike coming down your street with a double bunger in his pocket it will be Choc's suicide bomber! :shame:

That's true well the Green fan base was built out of Mundine hate, by Jeff Fenech in Greens early days on fox, and Mundine hate is a combination of tall poppy syndrome and racism.

Mundine has acknowledged that he used the promotion hype style that a young "Cassius Clay" used to promote himself, ie. "I am the greatest!". Mundine by appearing and acting arrogant with a persona of being full of hubris, has a cunning marketing ploy to create an "us and them" scenario in the public's eyes. He sprinkles his outbursts with the race and religion cards to stir the possum further.

Ironically Cassius Clay got his ideas of "greatness" show-boating to make himself objectionable to the majority of the USA population from the self promotion technique of the wrestler: Gorgeous George. Gorgeous George worked out what do both women and men most find objectionable in a man - it was the effeminate male. So his ring persona became a "pansy heel" character. This make-over made him a huge TV wrestling drawcard in the 1950s.

Clay converted and self promoted that idea into arrogance and hubris for publicity and Mundine has just continued the tradition.

He misread some of Ali's actions though. Fighting Ottke he did the shake his head "it didn't hurt bit" that Ali did against Frazier in Superfight I, forgetting that Ali lost that fight. Anthony then went on to be one of Sven's six KO wins.

mark,

u r wrong.

the mundine hate came from him constantly whinging and also putting other people down and praising his own ability heaps.

mundine cried that people that don't like him r racist, but thats rubbish. that just makes people dislike him more.

i never heard anyone say they dislike or hate cathy freeman.

The fact that he is Aboriginal just puts the icing on the cake for some. I've heard people say they dont like Cathy Freeman, let's face it alot of people don't like Aboriginals, how many people do you hear say I'm not racist but? Well when you say I'm not racist but you are racist.

who isn't racist?

but u R wrong in saying people that don't like him r racist. i don't like him cause i think he is a GOOSE. wouldn't matter if he was white, purple, black, or orange.

it doesn't put the icing on the cake either. thats just mundine whinging when things don't go his way. not every person will like cathy freeman, but the fact that i've never seen an article or news snippet regarding anything negative about her proves u r wrong imo.

yes some people don't like aboriginals, but i think u will find that its because they having mainly had negative experiences with them, or seeing them. i think u will find that nearly all people who have had only good dealings etc. with aboriginals when they were younger would have no problem at all with them.

He had a problem in Rugby League. He could not admit he was not good enough to replace Brad Fittler in the NSW team.
