American Kiwi, Jamieson "JKang"Bostic stopped in 2 rounds.
Most of us have had a chance to be graced by JKangs presence on these boards and is known to call out fighters such as Blake Caperello, only to pull out and take what he claims to be a better money option.
Well this time he took the fight with Isacc Chilemba who beat Australia's Bolling in a lopsided 12 round decision in South africa for the IBO super Middleweight title, and JKang lasted all of 2 rounds with the African.
All the best for Jkang's future and i hope he returns to Australia to give us those fights that we need.....McConvile,Caperello ect.

Unlucky Jameson Bostic, You ran into a class operator in Chilemba (ima a future world champion) as Hownddawg says you should come back to this part of the world, a fight with McCollville if he fights again would be easy money - although I'm not sure what beating a 12 fight novice (whose only won 7 of those) will prove. Get you back in the W column though
Re: Bostic sparked By Chilemba in 2
that is not the way to get a fight with mcconville yid,but i do understand
Re: Bostic sparked By Chilemba in 2
All mouth and no action? He fought a top ranked contender..........whilst other light-heavy's (no names) continue to fight bums and hand pick opponents fighting them 3 and 4 times over.......

Chilemba did hold the IBO Super Middleweight Title. One of the few holders to defend the title.

Regardless of the quality opponent he fought, I thought he fought terribly! it looked like he gave up in the end! I think he would struggle against the likes of caparello and mcconville in Australia.

it was good to see him step it up, but in reality a bridge too far at this stage, this is why i think it's so important for regions to make the best fight the best in there region before venturing into big fights on big cards, or fighting for a world title.
Bostic vs a couple of the fighters down here would be good for the sport as a whole, i can see where some think fighting a 7-0-5 fighter or a 9-0-1 guy but have a look at the opponents they've fought and beat, it's IMO far more impressive than 7 stay busy fights against 1-5-2 over 2 months then a 1st round knockout of some Japanese fighter, then lasting 2 rounds with a guy that 1 of our top 5 lt heavys went 12 with in Chilemba's backyard.
But back to Bostic, i really hope he comes back with a couple of wins and allows a few of the boys to rack up some important wins and then we see some high quality fights at the weight.
end of the brief fight.

I agree. Good on him for stepping up. He should now stop being a show pony and get on with boxing the best guys in the region, rather than the trash talk american crap and asking for too much getting what he wants and then pulling out of fights b/s. I think Bostic is a 4round fighter IMO. Not a 12rd fighter
