Olusegun tonight.

Post by stujones »

It looks like Ajose Olusegun's fight with Ali Chebah is going to finally happen, both have made weight - its on tonight.

Its an eliminator for the WBC title, and the current WBC champion looks very beatable these days.

Exciting times at 140 for the UK..... with Khan as champion, McClosley winning an eliminator and possibly Ajose in the mix for world titles.

Ajose looked really good. His hands were fast, his combinations were crisp, and his head movement and slick footwork prevented Cheebah from doing any meaningful work. Based on Ajose's performance tonight, I would favor him over Morales.

Exactly. He's a bit like Junior Witter 2.0. World-class fighter, dangerous on his day, but zero marketability.
