DiBella wants him based in NYC to build his fanbase - I assume they are trying to appropriate some of Duddy's support - so he will be living in Manhatten for the foreseeable.

Yeah, he's over there but as far as I know Joe will be in his corner for the next fight once they've worked out the timescale etc.

Macklin told me that he's had a lot of stability under Joe but obviously there's the distance issue to be resolved.

As for Joe G, he seems like an alright guy to me but a lot of people who have dealings with him say he is "difficult" to deal with. I suspect the truth is somewhere between the two.

He's well known for shifting trainers/promoters. He's only doing what he thinks is better for himself, and its good to see a boxer that's happy in control of his own destiny, as much as he can be.
