0-2 Arthur scored a majority decision against an old hunchback debutant in the first bout...

Pretty much a typical Kirby fight up to that point with Mick making it scrappy in close. Wilson has made a few good flurries and landed some decent body work of his own but just doesn't seem to have the power to worry Kirby...

Kirby wins a lop sided decision... he seems just a little bit happy...

Jamie Myer's suit deserves a special mention as well...

Did anybody else get the impression the commentators were watching another fight?

He hadn't fought for 12 months, so maybe no-one told him?

Was at the venue last night. Not a great card the semi main wasn't a bad fight.but it was great to see the rhino win the aussie title. Great to see it mean so much to him.a rematch with Ben Edwards would be good

The Iron Rhino was quite emotional after getting the nod over Colin, who had been out of the ring for a year due to a knee reconstruction. It was close up to the 8th, with the Rhino just in front. It was a gruelling bout up to the start of the 9th, with Colin fighting close in with flurries of body shots and hooks while the Rhino did the heavier, slightly busier "in your face" work. No more than a few centimetres separated the fighters, who were urged on by ref: Alan Moore for even more action. Two rips to the body put Colin down in the 9th as did another in the 10th. These 3 counts ensured that there would be no controversy about the victor. Well done Rhino, sometimes good things happen to those who put their skin into the game.

Tyrone continued with his walk up style, loading up on Israel and running away with a good points victory. Israel although getting a bit long in the tooth, showed plenty of ticker in fighting back off the ropes when receivinging plenty of punishment.

Missed the Craig versus Alex 1 rounder, who is looks like cannon fodder at the moment.

Dennis finally got a "W" on his record over Lincoln in a 4 rounder, where both blokes looked a bit light on condition. But they gave it their best.

The best and most enjoyable bout of the evening was the girl's 6 rounder. A majority draw was the result, with Nadine a tad unlucky not to get her hand raised. It was fought at a tremendous rate with hardly a clinch. Both showed great skills and fitness and to throw in a couple of cliches, both were: game as Ned Kelly; tough as teak and fought like Killkenny cats. A rematch for Sarah and Nadine is deserved and for the TV!
