Im not even sure if Frank was saying he was something like 32.... I would say any older posters remember this, but it aint really that long ago.

I think it's a really good fight for both of them. Skelton gets a second chance, and Rogan is able to continue building himself up again. Rogan shouldn't enter into a fight with Fury unless he is ready. He needs to be more active and build up his confidence and momentum.

rogan does seem a bit thick alright but i think he is smart enough to know his limitations. that is why we see him trying for WBU titles and fighting the likes of 44 year old skelton

I wouldn't give him credit for being smart because he is fighting for a WBU title (if that's the case with him vs Skelton, not sure ?), I think its just a lack of options. I'm a big fan of his, and loved his rise through Prizefighter, until he came a cropper against Sexton. Wish he'd have turned pro sooner. Anyway, lack of options, I mean there's no other version of the world title he can fight for, and being blunt I doubt he could win any eliminator for a major belt either, I don't know who holds shite versions like the IBO, IBC etc but persumably somebody does and they will have their own interests at heart, not Rogan's. He doesn't qualify for a shot at the main European title, and probably not for the lesser version either (although he was meant to face Pulev for it I think), and as for the British or Commonwealth titles, he's turned down the opportunity. The WBC international title is between that unbeaten polish guy (forgot his name) who recently flattened McBride, and the ancient Oliver McCall. I'm sure there's other international titles out there but they are probably being "used" to further the career of the holder.

That doesn't really leave an awful lot of options left for Rogan so fighting for the WBU title, if that is what he is doing, is probably the only thing going. In fact when you think about it, its surprising that the WBU wouldn't want somebody higher up the heavyweight food chain to compete for their worthless title. Not having a go at Rogan, he is a real life rocky, but am just being blunt and candid.

Anyway, I wish him well, he was riveting to watch and he deserves some success but realistically he must only have 1 or 2 fights left. Skelton should pack it in, he has no future in the sport whatsoever, he's washed up, shot, finished.

Rogan needs to realise that the likes of Willaims, Sprott, Skelton & Francis are the past now... If he wants to get back in with it, then there's the likes of Richard Towers, David Price, John McDermott.

The good news is. No title is on the line. Amen to that. It is just an interesting fight, of the ilk of Botha v Grant and Holyfield v Nielsen (scratch the last one).

I'm actually going for a Skelton win here..... I think Skelton took Rogan a tad lightly in fight 1 (which was close at the time of the stoppage) - he's been busier than Rogan and in some of these fights has looked alright.

I remember thinking "oh he has something left" when he fought Swaby in his last "proper" fight. His chin definately aint what is was, but what about Rogan power's with all his injury issue.

Skelton looked poor in his semi final "win" over McBryde in prizefighter, but in his quater final win he looked good and the final was very close.

I just think he has been busier, against better class of opposition and arguably has more left than Rogan.

I think Rogan has missed alot of opportunities and this is a good fight for him. Winner could get a crack at Fury.
