This forum is going down hill because it seems to continually thrive on the negative sh@t.
I think, personally, Joe Public might buy into all this type of stuff (I remember Warren having the audacity to call Salita a 'puncher' :D ). However, here, on a Boxing Forum, don't expect the same reaction. If you can understand that some of us have followed boxing for years, decades in some cases and some have boxed, then you might go some way to understanding that you can't fool the genuine boxing fans all of the time.

Not sure if your affiliated with any promoters, if you are, don't take it personally. Look to make it better :TU:

Pretty much this.

It's the reason why we are on forums discussing the game with like minded fans, as opposed to being the one amongst your group of mates who isn't impressed when (say) some unbeaten African comes over with a pretty looking record, and ends up being banged out in about 7 seconds.

I ent being negative ,It just puzzles me when we the British start hyping a young fighter whens he not fought nobody ...you got idiots on here saying he will beat the likes of Berto and Ortiz  ..and dint someone mention Mosley ? :o ..please enlighten me ...on what bases are we basing he beats any of those guys ? :-? ...on him landing two meaning full shots last night against "Rafal Jackiewicz" and the ref waving it off to bolster Brooks KO% some more ? Thats not a proper stoppage thats BS !
I dont jump on the hype train unless they look blatantly talented (like Nas) or until they actually fight somebody worth a squirt of P!SS !
BTW IMHO Mosley could be 65 years old and still come out of retirement and smoke the likes of brooks boots :D

Mosely hasn't lost his power. he briefly rattled little Floyd, it takes more than an average powered fighter to do that.

Mosely would be a winnable fight, yet a dangerous one.

You cant hit kell if you cant catch him which mosely would struggle to do and moselys never fought anyone like kell ,mosley would be getting hit with shots from everywhere and he dosent have have average puching power he has massive punching power like hes shown thus far in his career.

Shane has had his day, but fornicating hell...... he could end this fight with one shot, Brook doesn't have the power to discourage him, which is obviously key these days with him being more and more a gunslinger.

Come on, MW...bit harsh that. It's not as if the chap was a nobody. Sub-world class, obviously, but made to look really bad by a good prospect.

Ok, maybe it was Sky's constant hyping of the fight as a major breakthrough that caused me to be a bit harsh on him - but he was throwing something like 12 punches in a few of the rounds - he looked like a middle aged journey man just there for the pay day. Kel is good, no doubt about that, but I'm not sure he's that good just yet.

stoppage was idiotic. everybody who watches knows it wasnt a genuine ko. very unfair on rj ...he went all those fights and must have been proud of the fact that he was never stopped. he deserved better treatment from the ref

Naive person no one "smashes" Mosley.
In fact even at 41 Mosely puts him to sleep within 6.

Oh aye, agreed mate...but was there something in Brook that made him look as bad as a journeyman? RJ seemed to do f**k all...

Haha dont think so kell wins UD he would never be able to cope with his style and ability kell would just be able to control him he's not as exsplosive as he was in the past kell is kell could probably stop him late on.

kell's been ranked high by different gov bodies for some time I think he still has a high one with the warren boxing organsiation and is high with the wba. It isn't anything new but he's ranked high in a tough division and i'm guessing his trainers don't want him rushed in at the top in a division full of stars. Ortiz, Berto are not even the best in their division and would still be too strong for Kell right now. He's just unlucky he's not a natural light-middle as i think he would already be a world champ by now. He's not going to get any better than he is right now as he is already pretty class but pretty class only wins you world titles in easier divisions.
