What about a more open-ended "what technologies could be used to support or improve boxing?" I'm talking about things like TV replays, motion detection, hawkers type stuff rather than technological advancements in things like training and nutrition.

What about a look at the cost of boxing and if the top fighters are in some way forcing down the earning potential of domestic scene. e.g. Boxer A is a world champ on ppv and charging £80 per ticket to the fight. Does this reduce gates and the earning potential of up and comers on the scene. Also, does this harden the promoters hand and enable the promoter to strike a harder bargain to cover any possible losses they may make on Boxer A?

"Would a "Winner earns more" system be beneficial?"

ie you have a total purse of a fight, chuck it into the pot and then give the winner 80% and the loser 20%. Watch them all give a little bit more then. Will make the final round a real humdinger everytime when they both know that one punch has a lot of dosh riding on it

After all your very helpful suggestions for Inquest subject matter I just haven't got room to fit the feature into the next edition of BM (out next week whore whore), although many of the points you mention are subjects in the November issue's articles.

This Love to see BM take on this subject, no one else is. To what extent to we think there are steroid cheats in boxing ? There's only been a few caught ( Holy, Jones Jr, Vargas, Toney )

I have just read this month's Inquest and very good discussion and viewpoints from all three writers. I hope that this Haye-Chisora scenario is a wake up call for the Board to start being more attention to the needs and realities of their license payers and that they reform.

Can we have head cams for judges and referee please.

We can then have replays of "what the judge saw" or "how did the ref miss his glove touching down".

I'm mostly tongue in cheek here but I sometimes wonder.

Technology in the sport or its coverage would be an interesting angle.

I'd love to select ref cam or "no-commentary" sometimes.

Except for Steve Lillis predictably saying he sees absolutely no problem at all with Haye/Chisora. You can't really be a proper journalist when you're on the pay roll of a major promoter - it's one or the other.
