Passed away this weekend. He wasnt real well known, even around his hometown od Cincy. The local paper did a nice write up on him, this past Sun.
In the artical it states Costnar had 83 wins, and also a string of 23 ko's at one time. This is different than whats listed in the archive.
Im curiuos to know, which is more acurate. Seeing I want to a little write up myself on him for my website.

knockout..sent you a longer personal message...but for the other readers...George considered the "disqualification" loss on his record a legit kayo so that probably gives him the 23 in a row. Also, Boxrec, please change his height from 5'4" to 6' even. He was tall and lanky for a welter, not short and squat.
