Regardless of whether. Haye stays retired or comes back to fight, Haye has had a superb career and he has achieved a hell of a lot and has been in some verry entertaining fights. It's a shame that the Wlas fight didn't pan out the way he wanted, but he had the guts to fight the world number one away fronm home and that is something a lot of our fighters haven't done in the past. A big thumbs up from me.

The 'guts' to steal £10m from his fans by barely attempting to win the fight against Klit.

The 'guts' to fight absolute crap like Harrison and Ruiz, and then call the Klitschkos 'cowards' and 'bums' for beating just about everyone in the top 10.

Haye will go down as a pretender at HW. Closer to Herbie Hide than Frank Bruno, yet laughably compared himself to Ali and Tyson.

Was on a radio interview during the week in September that the Audley fight was announced.

Here's a Haye quote from 2010 that you WILL be able to find:

I think Jade might be referring to, with the Tyson quote, was when was fighting Monte Barrett, he said, words to the effect that he might get found out or he could be sensational, like the next Mike Tyson. It did not come across that he wanted that to be taken literally.

The Ali thing, was mainly done by the British media and GBP's Richard Schaefer, and nothing to do with Haye.

He didn't steal, he built the fight and promoted it.

Ruiz was his mandatory you clown, he had to fight him or get stripped.

Audley fight was a disgrace IMHO, but I understand why Haye did it. Bowe fought Dokes and Ferguson. Foreman fought Roman. So he ain't alone in taking an easy fight.

If he compared himself to Ali or Tyson, then have you ever considered that he might have been trying to promote himself and sell tickets?

Why was a 38-year-old John Ruiz who'd won just 3 times (against C' list crap) in 5 years the mandatory challenger for a world title?

It was a disgraceful manoeuvre by Booth, Haye and the sham of an organization known as the WBA to build a facade of dominance in the run up to a money-maker against Wlad or Vitali.

If you think Haye had to fight semi-retired John Ruiz or be stripped of his world title, you're frankly one of the stupidest boxing fans I've ever come across.

Give me one remotely valid reason why a semi-retired 38-year-old B' lister like John Ruiz was a madatory HW world championship challenger. Just one.

He was made mandatory for the same reason Audley Harrison magically appeared in the WBA's top 10. Haye handpicked him. You've got the be approaching braindead not to see the reasoning behind it all.

Now now. No need to come across as a complete tool, now is there?

Ruiz put in strong performances against those guys, and it's arguable that he may have got a decision or two. Thus, he retained his high ranking. Haye had to fight him, which also worked in Haye's favour.....older fighter, on his last legs, not a banger etc....Ruiz did prove his toughness. So credit where it is due.

Oh, so you're admitting that I'm right that Ruiz WAS the WBA mandatory challenger. Thanks for the apology for calling me 'stupid'.

The reason why Ruiz was mandatory challenger (I shouldn't have to tell you this, because you know soooo much about boxing) was because his second fight with Valuev was close. None of that matters of course, because Haye had no choice, if he didn't fight Ruiz he would have been stripped of his title.

PS And he was WBA mandatory and he had literally fought no-one even remotely world class.

Never once said he wasn't the mandatory in name. Of course he was, that's the only way Haye and Booth could defend fighting an old man who'd been in semi-retirement for years.

Seriously, there not one reason anyone can come up with that explains why John Ruiz was in that position, other than he was handpicked by Haye and validated by the shambolic WBA.

He wasn't handpicked by Haye you plank. He was already the mandatory challanger before the Haye-Valuev fight. Haye had no say what-so-ever in the matter. Don't you get it Mr Jade.

You're giving the WBA far too much credit here. Haye could have given Ricky Hatton a HW title shot and they wouldn't have batted an eyelid. The whole thing is an orchestration. I hope you'll figure it out one day.

I regard Haye as a top class fighter............

U just have to look at his career 27 fights 25 wins 23 KOs and 2 losses

He says he wants to got to Hollwood to make movies (he'll b back in the ring with in 2 or 3 years)

Very, very good Cruiserweight, no doubt about it. You can never take that away from him.

In 3 years Haye's speed will be all but gone, and he'll be finished at all but domestic level.
