Gotta love how Fury's so active. This is a good test.

Good match this and as yid said, great to see him so active.
I'm sure this will attract doubters as usual though

Slight step up, and in good time, so no complaints from me. Fair play to Mick Hennessy, backs been pegged to the wall in the last couple of years but he is managing this one very well in my opinion.

A week before Price/Mcdermott aswell, nicely planned.

Good fight. Well matched and a half decent bit of history between them.
Will be interesting to see how the venue works out, I think its the first time there has been any sport there (could be wrong)

Fury is starting to win me over. Never used to like him but he fights all the time and is stepping up in class slightly in every fight.

I do like the way he's fighting regularly and stepping it up bit by bit but he's still got some way to go before i completely change my mind on him.
This Pajkic lad looks like he turns up in shape (never seen him fight) so he has the potential to cause Fury problems but if he works on his jab and uses his height well he should have the skills to get the W

Yep, good to see Fury so active against credible opposition, this made me laugh from the article on the news page too:
"“It all started when Tyson called out Neven, who then flicked his towel at Tyson (ooh, get him)"

Very nice fight.
Really impressed with Fury's approach to his career so far. Hopefully his fitness continues to improve as well.

This fight won't challenge Fury much, Pajkic is an average fighter
Re: Tyson ready to unleash Fury on Pajkic Nov. 12 at EventCity
Yep and a light puncher by the looks of it tbh. Still i cant think of any busier heavyweights and while pricey is stagnating fury is moving on up.Camcas wrote:This fight won't challenge Fury much, Pajkic is an average fighter

Re: Tyson ready to unleash Fury on Pajkic Nov. 12 at EventCity
I have always enjoyed watching Tyson Fury fight ever since he turned professional back in 2008 on the undercard Carl Froch's WBC World title thriller against Jean Pascal, baring injury problems with his hand and his back he has been kept very busy and he has taken on all comers in his development as a Heavyweight in the paid ranks providing alot of excitment along the way, and I have always said the raw ingredients are there for a potentially great Super-Heavyweight (I tend him as a Super Heavyweight rather than a Heavyweight) Height, Reach, Handspeed, switches well between Bodypunching and head punching, but he does need to work more on his power to fully exploit the fast hands and digs to the body and his conditioning. But he is continuing to improve and he is learning in every fight and I expect that he will be securing the Lonsdale outright next year and pushing for a European title as I do not think he is ready for a World title tilt for another couple of years.
Re: Tyson ready to unleash Fury on Pajkic Nov. 12 at EventCity
Most definitely. Quite a contrast to most of the other heavyweights who fight twice a year on average.yid14 wrote: Gotta love how Fury's so active.
There's a lot to like about Tyson Fury.
Yes. Fury's been fighting decent opposition, compared to other young heavyweights like Deontay Wilder.yid14 wrote:This is a good test.

It is an excellent commonwealth title fight - reigning champion of Britain vs reigning champion of Canada - will be a test for Fury but he should stop Pajkic in 8.
Re: Tyson ready to unleash Fury on Pajkic Nov. 12 at EventCity
A quick google search show that Tyson was also ready to unleash Fury on Chisora, McDermott, Belshaw and Peret with a threat to Sexton.
He was though "not ready to unleash Fury on the Klitschkos"
That is all

Wladamir was 24 y.o when he challenged for the WBO world title against Chris Byrd and it was in his 36th fight.Lenny wrote:A quick google search show that Tyson was also ready to unleash Fury on Chisora, McDermott, Belshaw and Peret with a threat to Sexton.

Vitali was 28 y.o and in his 25th fight when he challenged Herbie Hide for the WBO world title. Why do you think Fury at barely 23 and with only 16 pro fights under his belt should be pushed to challenge for the world title now? He hasn't even been pro for 3 years and been having hand troubles alot of that.

rather see mike perez be in the other corner.
oh well.
no massive complaints.
didn't expect anything too special.
hennessy needs the paydays after froch dumped him.

yeah it's a boring match up really ain't it bigmark.BIGMARK wrote:Nice to see Fury being active but i dont think Pajkic will give him much trouble, yes he maybe an unbeaten fighter but he isnt the biggest of heavies and hardly has a big KO record even when fighting at a low level. Easy win for Fury and one that will hopefully bring the Price VS Fury match closer.
chop chop table 4 is waiting.
Re: Tyson ready to unleash Fury on Pajkic Nov. 12 at EventCity
FURY vs PAJKIC is the perfect fight at this stage of Tysons career and we have to give him extra praise for being an active boxer with this being his third fight in the last 4 months.
Although the feather-fisted PAJKIC will start off as a slight underdog, he's a good unbeaten technically sound boxer with decent wins over the likes of Grzegorz Kielsa, Nicolai Firtha and Jason Gavern so will be coming to England to win a decision which he has every chance of doing.
Also it's about time Fury fought in Manchester, a big criticism of Hennessy is that he never exploited the massive potential fanbase he has in his hometown where he's very well known and liked so i expect the Event centre to be sold out in a matter of days.
