ROB NORTON-LEON WILLIAMS PREDICTIONS

Post by macinger »

I think Norton will KO Williams, despite he has won his two last fights, he suffered a bad KO against Turba and shows his problems with the defense.

Its a bit silly its got sanctioned being honest, but Rob is at an age in which he can go at anytime - I was thinking he didn't look great against Dolan nearly two years ago (which is the last time he fought).

Arguably the most beatable British champion currently, but judging by prizefighter (the only time I've seen Williams) - Norton is going to have to have declined significantly further to lose this.

Norton late KO.

Williams should not have been allowed to fight for this. The sad thing is the CHuckle brothers are talking Conquest v Owoh winner as worthy of title shot!

Norton mid-late rounds stoppage. Norton is horrible to watch though, shows just how bad the cruiserweight division is.

Askin is probably the best prospect in the division.

Cruiserweight has traditionally been a very strong division on these isles but at the moment it’s without doubt our weakest division.

This fight really demonstrates how far the division has fallen; a few years ago Norton was at best top ten in this country now he’s the champ defending against a novice journeyman.

I expect Norton to win on points.

Though I hope Williams puts the cautious counter puncher to sleep.

John Lewis Dickinson is the best Cruiser in the country by a mile

I just hope he gets the chance to prove it sooner rather than later

Norton wins, retires lonsdale belt holder and then at least the division start to clear up. Askin and Dickenson should be fighting for the vacant belt.

Yes Dickinson got beat off Wright and Turba

Both were on injury (losses all the same) but I think its fair to say he was unlucky.

Comeback fight was a good win over Dolan.

IMO Dickinson is the best Cruiser in this country by a distance.

Just an opinion though

I'm sure Maloney will get him a title shot soon
