Maida Vale & boxers

Bit of an odd question. Does anyone know if there is a connection to boxing in Maida Vale in London?

I know that's an odd question but my office is there and i see so many that i'm thinking that it can't be a coincide anymore.

First i bumped into Derek Chisora, the day his fight with Wlad was announced and had a brief chat with him. In the summer i was by the window and spotted Joe Calzaghe eating outside a restaurant. About 3 weeks ago i saw Johnny Nelson walking down the street in a tux and then yesterday i saw Naseem Hamed walking into a newsagents.
Thing is i am hardly ever outside or looking out the window so there may be dozens of other boxers milling around that i never notice.

I've considered that maybe the place is full of celebs & i just don't know who most of them are but in that same time i've only ever recognised Gwyneth Paltrow and Paul Weller. So it's not as if random celebs outnumber the boxers.

Anyone got any ideas what the deal is?

There's a BBC studio round there could be that.

You also have All Stars Gym around the corner. BBC studio sounds a more likely destination though.

I thought about that but had no idea there was a studio in Maida Vale, i've looked it up and this makes sense now. Cheers
