Alexei Collado
Alexei Collado
I know he's Cuban but he's had most of his fights in Britain and Ireland so wondered if anybodies seen him fight? He's fought pretty weak opposition so far but 14 k.os in 14 bouts is pretty impressive especially for a super-bantam. Next up Franklin varela on saturday, who got stopped by Quigg in July. How far do you think he can go?

Next fight is Friday on SecondsOut.com and http://www.youtube.com/hattonboxing
I've never heard of him but i will definitely keep an eye out for him now. Does he fight out of the same camp as Perez?

I'm going to the fight on Friday night as it's only just up the road from where I live. His inclusion has certainly added something to the bill. I will report back on Saturday morning my findings and give a review of the bill if anyone is interested?
Re: Alexei Collado

From what i've seen of him he is talented, but raw. Good to see him fighting again after a long lay off.

Don't think he has a promoter. His manager is Patrick Hamish Thomas, think he manages all three of the Cubans over in Ireland.Josh1111 wrote:Is he signed to Hatton then?Wake up call wrote:Collado is very good.

No he's with Brian Peters and Patrick Hamish Thomas. This is a Carl Greaves show, Hatton's involvement is on the TV production side. Basically, Hatton Promotions are now working with small hall promoters to push the sport forward using Youtude live. The thinking is that it is the biggest broadcaster in the world now and as it offers a new live function it's the best place for the sport to be outside of your traditional TV set up.Josh1111 wrote:Is he signed to Hatton then?Wake up call wrote:Collado is very good.

Hatton Promotions deserve huge credit for leading the way.
Re: Alexei Collado
I think it would be a great coup for Hatton to try and sign these 3 fighters. I think it would be a good career move for them too. He will get them bigger fights and make a name of them. I dont think any of us can doubt their potential, but they need to step up a little.
Do you think he will use this TV deal to try and sign them?

I agree, they need a big promotional deal to push them all on and it would be nice to see more of them as well.Josh1111 wrote:I think it would be a great coup for Hatton to try and sign these 3 fighters. Re: Alexei Collado
Not impressed with him at all, raw was about right can't believe he'd had 14 straight k.o wins didn't look to have much power at all and at stages during the fight was getting out-jabbed by his 5 ft 3 opponent. I hope for his sake it was an off-night. The refs scorecard of 98-91 was way off the mark aswell.
