To be fair, I don't think any one was happy about Danny (Hugo the Argentinian) being sent out by whoever lines this up in Argentina, Brad, his opponent Danny, the board, all involved in the promotion etc. and no one knew of the situation until two days before weigh in.

it does make a bit of a mockery of the title though. I mean I know of a good Estonian welterweight for his first defence.

State titles are pretty meaningless. It gets you a payday for an 8 round fight.

Pitt/Oganov seems to be back on.

McConville has only KOed one light heavy. He may have some trouble with Pitt.

True that. Shane has a great work rate if he can take it up to cruiser he'll be a force.

When you are up against a bloke with Pitt's KO record it doesn't hurt to be able to punch.

not arguing with u brute, its always handy to be able to wallop,i was just sayin that if mcconville dosnt get down to lightheavy, that it would be a good match up in the cruisers,as far as i know mcconville still wants to campain in the lightheavy's but u never know, it gets harder to lose weight as u get older

Agree, I think Mcconville would be a force at cruiser, his work rate is 1 of the best in this country, power not so great, but he can take a punch and moves pretty well, don't know if he could beat Pitt, but it would defiantly be his toughest opponent to date.
