Manually set your SKY box to record late night boxing.
1 Go to options.
2 Scroll across to MANUAL REC
3 Enter
Channel Number
Day
Start time
End time
Frequency.
Hey presto you need not watch 3 hours of Boxing and then have the fight cut out mid fight.
Best to set it to 90 minutes after the programme is set to finish, just to be safe.

For a channel that wants £10 off me a month, I shouldn't have to manually record anything.Hagler2002 wrote:God forbid Dioufy sees this thread

If you're paying £10 a month, unlucky.Dioufy wrote:For a channel that wants £10 off me a month, I shouldn't have to manually record anything.Hagler2002 wrote:God forbid Dioufy sees this thread

I'm sure the MINOR issues will be addressed, apart from the over running problem I see very little to fault so far, but you will always have people who will twist on 21.
Re: Manually set your SKY box to record late night boxing.
I am doing fornicate all, all I said was that if they're trying to persuade the likes of me to purchase this channel then they need to be top notch, and when minor things do go wrong, they need to rectify them straight away, especially if they're minor. Once is very forgivable, twice is just sheer sloppiness.Hagler2002 wrote:So what are you moaning aboutDioufy wrote:Well, I won't be.Hagler2002 wrote: If you're paying £10 a month, unlucky.![]()

And where did I dispute that? But at least with Sky you could tape the following programme for insurance. Can't do that with BN - and the sad thing is, after the BHOP/first round nonsense last week, it'd be easy to iron that flaw out. Did it get sorted though? No? Why? Cos they're being sloppy pudenda.Hagler2002 wrote:But Sky done it for yearsDioufy wrote:

I've just had a new Virgin TiVo box installed - and every live event you want recorded it asks you if you want to add any extra time incase it over runs
so when I want to record something on allegedly I won't miss a thing ...........
...... Thats IF it ever gets put on Virgin
