Off Topic: AOL Internet

Post by steve689 »

Just a quick word, i am still banished from the Internet at home after losing my AOL modem drivers disk. AOL will not issue me a new one so i am having to use the library internet. The only way i can get the modem drivers is to either download them off the AOL site (the required area of which only AOL members have access) or get hold of a copy of the drivers disk.

If any of you good people have a copy of this evil disk i would appreciate a copy (im starting get desperate now 8) )

A handsome reward for anyone who can assist me :TU: :box:

Thanks

They won't send you a disk? What kind of shitty service is that?

Tell them you need a disk, and when they say they can't give you one, tell them you want to cancel your service... They'll change their mind fast. And if they don't, who needs 'em.

My contract runs out in September (not that i ever remember signing one) and i cannot cancel till then, believe me i tried. They only send out one disk and it's up to you to keep hold of it apparently.

I got told off by the operator for swearing when i asked "So i am paying 30 quid a month for fornicate all then?"

I'm getting ripped off with a pay-monthly contract for a mobile phone right now, so I feel your pain. Roll on January.  8)
