To be fair to the guy he probably doesn't have the money. You do have to spend a bit to make a bit and if he's been let down by Leonard and others, which he has, he's bound to be in the mire. Of course that doesn't make things sound any sweeter for those owed money but it's one of life's little realities.

Back in the day, I'd have probably taken the same line as most other posters, here and at ESB, but having seen one of my own businesses crumble very quickly after I was let down, I know how easily it can happen. I hope the guy manages to rustle up the money to pay those he owes, but you can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear and if he's penniless, he's penniless. There's only so many people who can take a bit of his hide.

I think there are a few issues in how he's handled it though mate, he seem's to have gone underground rather than facing up to it. If he does come good, I don't think I'd be confident using the services of his company in future.

He has got money he is running a semi pro show on saturday in peterborough its sold out he also owns a printing shop there he just wont pay anyone back then declare himself bankrupt and opened up in another name so he doesnt have to repay the debts

I also doubt it, and understand your position but like others on here, I have also run businesses so have my own experience to judge the situation, much like you are doing. Not every day is plain sailing but there is a way of dealing with things, or more importantly, people.

I don't find it easier to criticise on forums than praise, it’s the same effort, it’s just a case of calling it how I see it.

I totally disagree about you restraint comment, I'm a prospective customer of his current (and future) businesses so am entitled to air what I consider a fair opinion on it. You will see earlier on in the thread I gave a balanced view on my dealings with Lee and I stand by that, but based off the information subsequently presented in the thread, he's done wrong. There are probably lots of reasons, but in my experience, most people who have done wrong have those.

yeah spoke to him and he blame sugar rays lot been in touch with them and they know nothing about it

Jane, all you have to do is issue a summons to him via the county court, it is very easy to do and cheap and very effective. If you want to lose your money - going around his house and twatting him would be a good way about doing it.

Just found this thread as having same trouble re Boxing Promotions and not getting any response from the cancelled SRL event - ok ours is only £300.

Any developments for anyone on hearing from Nightingale

got a phone number for him but still havent got anywhere aslo email [email protected] he use to be his buisness partner he reckons he has been ripped off by him to and is taking legal action against him
