Perth HW explosion 20 Nov

Post by Totalpac »

Mark is now facing Dominique Alexander by the looks.

Alot tougher fight for Mark stylistically IMO especially in a comeback.

Has he bitten off a bit much first up?

Alexander loses to every decent opponent he faces, and he could only manage a MD against the very poor Galen Brown. If De Mori is going anywhere then he should win this with no problems.

Meehan cleaned Alexander up in two rounds a few years ago. Maybe Kali could give Mark a few tips, although he probably won't need them. :box:

Hope all the WA crew can get down for this. Mark and his team have been working their butts off to make this happen and be a quality night after the last twit turned up and wasted everyones time.

At least Dominique is talking the talk. Walking the walk will be the big question, but we will see.

Even if you are not a fan of de Mori still such a great vid.

Made before his last 'non fight'. 100 or so training sessions later and Mark is finally going to be back.

Dominique Alexander arrives on Tuesday, visa approved, flights booked.

Bring on Nov 20.

Motivation Mark de Mori

Alexander talks about beating Galen Brown. That was in August 2009.

Since then he has had one win and five KO losses that are recorded. If he has beaten Brown again are we supposed to be impressed? Galen's record is hardly
stellar.

Looks like 15 Oct 2011 he got at UD over Brown 58-56,58-56,60-54

Maybe Brown ain't great but atleast shows Alexander is going to be in shape & ready

I think this is going to really show where Mark is at, after 27 months out to fight someone that's going to be looking to go the distance and be hard to catch up with will be interesting.

On a side note, how many other HWs would be looking to go into a 10 rounder after 27 months out?

This all impresses me as much as Brown stopping Denis Reed last week in Reed's second fight.

Alexander has never been past 6 and has been easily knocked out by every decent opponent he has faced. De Mori knows it won't go ten.

Mark won his fight by 4rd KO with body shots. He looked aw-sum and his combo punches were timed great . Well done and cant wait for his next fight - Lets just hope its not 2 years down the road.

BTW They way De Mori looked tonight Welliver would get cream pied!. :box:

Alexander will make any decent fighter look very good. I'd still take Welliver over de Mori.

If Welliver is getting watched by 20 million, I am sure those are numbers that Mark would be interested in getting aboard the sexy boxing train.

What are you doing early next year Chauncy?

I fight Saturday against the already mentioned Galen Brown. I beat him before but my original opponent fell out just days ago.
I fight also in New Zealand January 21 if Mark is looking for a match. Will be fighting again in China in February but they have an opponent in mind for that one.

Michael Kirby would give anybody a tough fight. He's big, strong and tough. I hear he's fighting Lucas Browne in Feb or we'd have sought him in an Oz champ vs. NZ champ fight.

De Mori or Meehan will be the fighters we hope to get. Mark has priority so balls in his court now but we have other offers out there. Cheers.
