My family goes back to 1928 in Australia. Please correct me if im wrong. Mark pawsey is on here giving an opinion and u boys bag his record and tell him to concentrate on his own career. I can tell you from first hand experience mark is one tough sob and a more than handy boxer. Yes his record is fifty fifty but i think he is entitled to voice his opinion without being bagged. Mark has never claimed to be up there with the likes of danny green. As much as i dont agree with all his posts i will never bag what he has done he is a good club fighter keeping our sport going. Have u boys ever fought as pros. i doubt it as you would not bag the bloke. Again correct me if im wrong but can only go off the names u post under. Without blokes like mark this forum would be dead after all we want to talk boxing and mark is a boxer. Cheers guys. No disrespect meant but maybe you should show some more to our actual active fighters, just cause you dont agree with what he says doesnt make it wrong Just a quick one to brute and the rocket. Re: does danny green have to make weight?
what weight do u predict he will come in at vs the polish bloke?
Re: does danny green have to make weight?
14 stone 4lbs.
Re: does danny green have to make weight?
I think he'll come in around 88kg's
Re: does danny green have to make weight?
88 kilos is a bit over 13 stone 12lbs. I always refer to weights in stones and pounds because that is the way professional boxing limits
are worked out. With metrics you finish up with an inexact weight or about 50 numbers after the decimal point.

Re: does danny green have to make weight?
14 stone 4lb, or 200lb, or 90.7184kg is the cruiserweight limit. I think Green's best fighting weight is probably around 86-87kg, but he will probably weigh pretty much on the cruiserweight limit, as Angelo Hyder has said that he doesn't believe Green's increase in weight attributed to the Tarver loss.
Re: does danny green have to make weight?
Did Angelo also say that it was his lack of ability to pass anything positive onto his charge whilst he was getting beaten contributed to the loss ?? I doubt it. Green needs the speed back. he looked to heavy, to the naked eye. And when fighter looks to heavy they usually are. I agree Jezz. I reckon 86-88 would be ideal. I hope he comes in at around that mark. Wlod is a different fighter in so many ways to Tarver, but Green will not want to stand in front of him and get hit. Lighter and quicker would be a good start. He will still be able to hit hard enough to hurt Wlod, but be quick enough to get out of the way. Throwing combos and not one reaching jab !! I hope I havenet repeated myself or anyone else but I am sure Mark will be onto it !!jezzamundo wrote:14 stone 4lb, or 200lb, or 90.7184kg is the cruiserweight limit.
