Jose Uzcategui record is doubtful. In BoxRec his record is 5-0, but in an interview in Venezuela, Jose Uzcategui says his pro debut was against Ramiro Rosales and the third fight was against John Ruiz. Both fights are not registered by BoxRec.
Alongside this, there is an error on his nationality. In BoxRec appears as Mexican. Uzcategui is a native of Venezuela. He is from El Vigia, Merida State, same place where he was Edwin Valero.
Please correct this pair of errors.

Re: Jose Uzcategui: Record doubtful and nationality error
Thanks for the info;
I did find his fight with Ramiro Rosales
However, without the date and location of the bouts
it is very difficult to research and the data bank has
no Jose Ruiz recently active above lightweight.
I will contact the Tijuana commission to verify.

ok blue. Once contact with the Commission of Tijuana, please ask to clarify the details of all Uzcategui fights. Uzcategui, in his Facebook, said his fifth fight was for desicion. No mention of the name of his rival. There is no data in boxrrec about it.
Finally, if you are at your fingertips, but just what you suggest. Since contacting the Commission of Tijuana, do you might investigate the registration of Carlos Vera? Vera makes career in that state and he was an outstanding amateur boxer in Venezuela. He had a record of 128 fights, 121 wins 82 per K'0, 7 defeats in amateur. I've lost track of his career.

Here the story where Diario Los Andes in Venezuela say that Vera jump to the professional. There is also data such as date and place of birth, etc.. I know it will be very useful:

Hello blue. I was able to contact Carlos Vera, I did it through Facebook. Vera told me that is not in Tijuana, he had a problem and are here in Venezuela. Look no further on this fighter.
