I do like John, he looks to getting the right sparring in Fury and Towers. He will start an underdog i think, but Price has yet to be tested and anything can happen in the heavyweights.

Its the kind of fight that my support is divided as I also like Price as a boxer as well

What do you expect him to eat at a show? Vichysoisse salad? Protein drinks?

Who do you think would win a hotdog eating contest? Chisora or Mcdermott?

McDermott should be a decent test for Price at this stage of his career but I hope Price can make a real statement here. He needs to be fighting way more often than he does also. He should be doing what Fury is doing and fighting every 2 months.

If John shows up in condition (like he usually does) it'll be a very tough fight for Price. May even go the distance.

Price should stop McDermott - dont see this going to points (one way or the other).

It is pretty obvious that John McDermott will come into this fight extremely motivated for his British Heavyweight final eliminator shot against Liverpool's David Price because if he does lose this fight I do not see him getting another crack at the Lonsdale belt, having dropped two points decisions against Danny Williams and getting blasted out in a round by Matt Skelton in his third other opportunity. I do believe he has got plenty of strength in his punches that will give Price a few things to think about in the early stages of the fight, but I do see Price's superior height, reach and jab just being too much for McDermott and I think Price will stop him in the later rounds in a very gallant effort.

I thought he beat Williams atleast once, Poor Mcdermott he's had some stinking decisions over the years, don't think this one will go to the judges scorecards though.

I agree in the first fight I had McDermott winning it and I have not seen the second fight between them yet.

Me too. Though I think it'll be a lot earlier.

Can see Big John trying to get in close to rough Price up, but ends up taking a massive straight right which finishes the fight, earlier than most will expect.

McDermott beat Williams twice and Fury once, and was robbed of each.

Am looking forward to this fight, should be an interesting little titbit, or a big titbit, depending on what size big John comes in at.
