OR I am actually choosing to defend against a decent fighter who probably won't get another shot like this.
BoxBuzz wrote:For the record, THE ROCK has only challenged those in the top five this week.
But we all know that you will never call out Joe Louis, you have ran from him time and time again...
BoxBuzz wrote:We will now offer you once again a shot at THE ROCK. Tell Louis to drop his title, and enter the "championship zone" with THE ROCK. We will ask the commish to have this take place in whatever is considered to be the most isolated venue on earth. Just Joe and THE ROCK......no titles, no big crowds, just glory.
Then what is the point? Why are you calling Joe Louis out now that he has a World Title of his own?

Certainly. Initially I thought that The Open Weeks were a bad idea. But I now tend to look at it in terms of the first Rocky film because there are lots of compelling similaritities.

Apollo Creed (Joe Louis) a successful World Champion fighting a big underdog, Rocky Balboa (David Haye) and giving him the chance to engrain his name in glory forever.
This will be the biggest upset in the history of the Sim if it comes off.
:TU:

And there's something very compelling about a story like that.
I suppose in many ways, it's like the magic of the FA Cup - where anybody can fight anybody.

Yeah, you ran away like a scared little bitch. And if you want a title shot off of me, you are going the wrong way about it.

And if Louis beats Haye ( as I expect him to) you can ask me again next week.

I get what you're saying BUT Techno and David Haye haven't been involved long enough for the 'romantic' idea you've put forward. Surely someone else who has been here from the start with shit fighters, should be given a go. Barry as an example, Ben as another.

So Mr Crook, uh I mean Mr. Crease...... I say we play it safe, you send me Norton, I'll send you Corbett.

I will of course accept your bags of cash for the "fix" we have arranged. Since you were going to give Norton a go at Louis.....this seems perfectly sensible in the world according to Crease.

Just say yes.

Crease, you should be embarassed with the way you have managed some ATG fighters, taking several seasons to produce one measly belt, and you have the nerve to call me a bitch?

I wasn't still trying to get a title shot my asperger afflicted friend, I was simply pointing out what a faggot you are. You are the ass-stain of the Sim. Recognize your place before you open a pandora's box of shit that you aren't ready to deal with.

Now go on and get your tiny, miniscule little rocks off by putting an absolute monster up against a joke of a challenger, and attempting to pump it up as a "Rocky Balboa" type of moment (good move comparing this absolutely real sim fight to a handwritten movie ). I'm too busy building a Hall of Fame resume to actually ever have to care about you or your mismanaged fighters, I was just trying to take advantage of an opportunity this week, and you seemed the weakest mentally, so why not?

Eff him Detroit. Destiny awaits. It just may be Joe Frazier's Simtime, and there is no one THE ROCK would be more honored to face off with than this top 10 all time great. NO ONE ELSE has shown any interest, I trust and know that Joe and his management team KNOW NO FEAR.

Make it so.

Crease......in order to be part of greatness, one must dare to do great simulated things.

You may now be experiencing a deep and deserved sense of shame. However, there is always hope! We suggest that you seek to quickly change your ways.....we have shown you the way. Now it's up to you to learn and follow.

What the hell! - I'll scrap Jeannette's CPU opponent and he will now fight Sonny Liston to avenge his stable mates defeat last week.
