Anderson Vs Degale looking likely?

Post by Jeff Thomas »

I see on Eastside that Anderson Vs Degale is looking likely for december? not heard anything at our end yet!! The fight makes absolute sense. Groves has just scored a great victory over Smith really demonstrating that there is a large gap between groves and degale right now- what better fight then kenny to prove he deserves a rematch- plus FWP won't have trouble selling a real fight like this- unless there planning on handing him a series of easy wins.

Make it happen Frank :TU:

Good fight to make. Can't help but think that both Groves and DeGale are trying to best each others results. They should forget about doing that, and concentrate on their own ways. If both keep winning, regardless of style of victory, both are on another collison course, probably for a big title(s).

Forget it for the next 2 years, IMO.

I'll be happy to see Anderson in the mix again. He talked a lot of sense when interviewed after his last fight (Morbey was it?).

I think DeGale handles Anderson a lot better than Groves did.

If it does happen and anderson has a good long camp to train, i think he upsets the overrated degale! Anderson is a throwback the guy has caveman power

It depends. If De Gale walks forward constantly, Anderson may land something and it that could be that for De Gale. He doesn't want to get caught up in a war with such a very dangerous puncher. However, I think De Gale will be very cautious and completely box his head off (Bellew-McKenzie style). If the fight happens, Anderson deserves fair notice. Its an intriguing fight.

Based on what? DeGale does have the boxing skills to fight at distance and not get involved in a war.

After the way DeGale struggled with the Pole I think James could get banged out. Anderson been keeping sharp by sparring Froch, there could be a surprise on the cards.

With Degale's confidence so low, fighting Anderson ain't a smart move.

I'd fancy Kenny in the late rounds to finish him off.

i dont think Degale has the power to deter Anderson , would be good fight Anderson would test degales Chin anyway as proved last fight hes there to be hit.

Degale would need to box well to win this

Anderson is quite overrated on this forum; he hasn't scored a single win of consquence, and he was knocked out when he had the opportunity to do so.

Degale would win comfortably.

I'm pretty sure Anderson could step up in weight now and beat Hopkins and Dawson on the same night.
In fact, I'd say Anderson vs a prime Ibeabuchi is a pick um

That or Degale was sloppy and unfocused last time out but comes in focused against Anderson and the fight follows a fairly similar pattern to the Smith fight as Anderson is kinda made for Degale.
