Duno. I think ch5 boxing has been created as a platform for Primetime. I'm sure Fury will be tested on there a some point in the future (hopefully it flops and he goes back onto 5 or moves onto Sky)

Not so sure Sky did it to make up with GB but more a case of team Khan and GBP realising that next to one is going to pay for that pisspoor excuse of a channel. Did they ever release the Khan - Judah numbers?

Third party channels (non-sky) require remote activation. There are two types, the inferior method which involves a telephone line being connected and their manually ping your box upon payment through a call centre.

Or the more expensive option for companies is payment through your handset, which sky offer them but at a cost. But you still need your details setting up in the first instance for this means took work. Sky normally charge money to companies for that part too, which is in turn passed on to you.

This is because when you buy a Sky show, it gets added to your monthly bill. Wheras when you buy say a Primetime show the money goes off your card.

So they had the option, but chose the less costly version. Does this meen that Sky aren't prepared to collect payment for channels or that they never asked?

Would it monopolystic for them to do this?

I think you are right with the funds being freed up - in saying that I would rather watch Khan's next 3 fights than ANY of Allegedly's stable.

I don't think Sky were bankrolling them mate.

That's up to the promoter. Sky will pay the promoter an agreed fee...and it wouldn't be anywhere near enough (I suspect) to cover big money agreements for novices.
