Khan Back on Sky

I for one am made up that Khan has signed to show his next 3 fights on sky, far wider audience than primetime. I am always defending boxing to others and trying to get people to watch it and the last few weeks have been a nightmare with allegedly, as not one person iv spoke too outside of the hardcore boxing fans have heard of it. Then Primetime go and snap up Pac V Marquez. With Khan back on Sky it will get a few more people talking about boxing, as they'll have the chance to watch him without paying ppv costs, hopefully he can get a bigger name than peterson next so long as he wins, one that will get the average joe off the street interested. I just want more people to be interested in boxing is that too much to ask? lol

I for one have been proved wrong with Khan, I put a £10 on him getting KOed for about five fights in a row, to be fair I won that V Prescott, I thought he'd been exposed by that fight but looking at him now he's an entirely different fighter and makes non of the mistakes that damaged his early carrer.

Furthermore getting back to your main point the Olympic medal means he's a name people know and he seems a nice bloke meaning my non "boxing fan" friends will talk to me about what I recon about his fights. Much as I like people fighting on terestrial television they don't get the hype right and having PPV event television gets people excited and they organise their evenings around it.

It's laughable when people have made statements recently saying that Sky are pulling out of boxing. BSKYB were put on the television map due boxing during the late 80's early 90's and that runs deep for any company even 20 years later.

Sky firing back at the recent competitive nature of securing viewing rights for fights?

arguably the biggest signing they could make as well. Works well for all parties concerned i feel.
