He was totally outclassed but at least he had a dig. fought tough but just couldn't handle the speed difference.

Fight should have ben stopped sooner IMO.

Trout was a very gracious winner.

Hope to see him in with Mundine soon.

Frank showed a lot of ticker but was outclassed badly from the start. But he at least went across the Pacific and had a go. Trout has welcomed all comers to have a crack at him.

Trout looked quite formidible with his aggressive style and no wonder our "Man" went into dodge mode when their initial bout was announced and then just as quick canned.

Might be a good time for Frank to pack it in. He was getting hit much too often.

I thought Frank learn't a lot about his abilty tonight, good on him for having a go, but defiantly a step or 2 below that level tonight.

I suspect Frank will call it quits & purpose of the fight was for final payday & no doubt a goodie at that. Be good to see him embarking on officiating side of the sport

laporto never got a look in, is he southpaw or orthodox, this is the first time i,ve seen him fight, what did he do for his handlers to throw him in against a champion, when he hadn,t had a fight for 8 months, the fight should have been stopped in the fourth, his corner should have shot the towel in, i only hope he is healthy and well enough to spend the big payday, all the best

Take nothing away from Frank gudluck to him , and well done for having a dig at the big stage but how in hell did he ever get a title shot, and i can't believe how he ever beat Daniel Dawson.. He couldn't throw a straight jab or even put his hands up and put his chin down which they teach you as a novice. very poor footwork , and his balance was all over the place.. Give him credit for his heart, and chin, and his relentless but that is it..

Without wishing to be disrespectful, that was my first look at LoPorto and I was asking myself how on earth he beat Dawson?? Can anyone enlighten me? Obviously he's got bags of heart and gave it his all, but Dawson is fringe world class and I can't see how he lost to Frankie.

Dawson isn't fringe world class, perhaps he one was, but he certainly isn't now. He looks good fighting agianst mediocre opposition and has nice technique, but has lost virtually every round when he has come up against world class opposition (Geale and Dzinziruk).

I didn't see the fight, but from what I've heard, LoPorto beat Dawson clearly by throwing and landing many more punches. Apparently Dawson couldn't deal with his volume. LoPorto is a decent Aussie level fighter and I think he'd take some rounds off the current version of Mundine, who would also lose soundly to Trout.

We must be patient as we have to wait until our man gets past all the 62 Argentine ants currently listed at light-middleweight before he lands Trout!

Then of course the 12000 philipino pastry cooks. I also think he is scanning the records for a chump with a last name that looks like Monzon, or even similar to Duran or Mayweather.
That's where his legacy lies.
