Re: Congratulations P4P1
thanks guys was certainly a different experience was able to land some good leg kicks and a couple of knees but the thing that won it was my hands i was able to hit him at will, though he took it way better than i thought he would and the fact my takedown defence was working well so i kept it standing and tried to turn it into a boxing match. very happy with the performance i had been out of the gym since june when my last fight fell through so to go in with 2 weeks training in a new sport and go the distance ( 2 x 5mins) was excellent experience. The credit has to go to the trainers at my gym though they worked very hard with me over the 2 weeks to get me up to speed on takedown defence and punching in mma, suprisingly it does feel different with distances smaller gloves etc.). I did learn that leg kicks kind of suck the next day though

Re: Congratulations P4P1
I missed this.
Taking fights at short notice suck ass(couldnt imagine debuting in another sport at short notice) but obviously it didnt bother you much, congrats bro.
