I dont buy Margarito's excuse that the 'red' colouring has come off the glove, if that was the case it would also be on the front wrapping covering his knuckles, but that appears to lap over the top of the red colouring. I think if that was removed, more of the red colouring would be seen underneath it, proving it could not have come from the glove.

I thought the argument was more about the damage to Marg's wraps on the knuckle area, i.e. bandages do not break like that but hard material does? Margarito didn't really answer that one

He said it was a tear, which is clearly bullsh*t IMO! Its clearly a crack to my eyes.

The red colouring is a giveaway that there is something alien in those wraps.

The mans guilty IMO but he could not give a sh*t. He's one mean fcuker that clearly has little regard for human life. I hope Cotto fights the fight of his life and hammers him for 12 rounds!

Margarito looked guilty as hell, if the staining was from the gloves, then how come we don't see red staining on wraps routinely. The gauze clearly looks cracked. Margarito's reaction was to tell Cotto to shut up, and he looked really rattled by it.

I hate to see fighters get hurt, but I really hope Cotto puts the cheating tosser in hospital for a long while. Margarito to by memory has never apologised for what he tried to do in the Mosley fight, and I don't buy his excuse he didn't know. He clearly tripped himself up by saying that he didn't have illegal wraps for the Cotto fight, as he wasn't supposedly in the know, so how could he be sure - Kellerman did well to pick up on it.

Margarito and his training staff are a disgrace, Margarito strikes me as a piece of garbage as a human being judging by his reaction to the whole controversy in the past. It is to boxing's shame that he was allowed back to the sport, given that his actions put his opponents long term health at extreme risk.

The Cotto fight is the only one i think is right for him to have, Cotto has a right to try and gain revenge, I sincerely hope he does.

I cant wait for this fight, that was a great promo and I thought Kellerman did a good job stirring the pot. I really do not know who to pick in this fight, it is going to be fight of the year and one that I am sitting up for :box:

That ripped gauze has what looks like that plaster of paris 'insert' from the Mosley fight coming out of it.

Looks like it's hardened cracked and has ripped through the gauze.

Cotto has always been one of my favourites and I really hope he puts a beating on Margarito. If there was a way for him to break him down to the body and make him appear to quit then that would be perfect.

Unfortunately I think the only way Cotto can win this fight is by going backwards and I don't think he has the engine to do so for 12 rounds whilst throwing enough shots to keep Margarito away. He will catch up with him, it's just a matter of how late will it happen.

I also don't see anything wrong with Kellerman in this interview and thought he did a good job.

The plastered bastard looks guilty as fuk, he's acting like a child who's been caught 'red handed' (excuse the pun) in the cookie jar and who subsequently is so embarresed that he lashes out in anger at whilst pointing the finger at anyone he can.
One other thing, Cotto looks rattled to me, which is unusual to see, I thought big Wlad was ruffled also on the HBO face off last time and that meant for nothing.

That said the big 'From Dusk Till Dawn' extra is gonna beat Cotto badly again and it's a cying shame as I think that justice should be served.

Sometimes boxing is a heartbreaker.

No idea how it would relate to plaster in the warp but it is interesting that there is red coloration on the warp from the Mosely fight too.

I can't believe some of you want Margarito to win. It's weird how the mind works, eh?

A f**king cheat who should never have been allowed to lace them up ever again, and who would have put another (at least one) man's life at risk - I just don't buy it that he wouldn't have realised - utter sh1te.

I hope he gets smashed to bits.

What a great contrast just happened on Allegedly channel.

Bunce hyped the first fight (top ten of all time, etc) whilst completely sweeping the 'issue' under the carpet...Smigga just said he can't watch it back properly, knowing what Margarito subsequently did and that he wouldn't have given him another licence. Top lad, Smigga :TU:

Started with an eye patch, and then thought, f**k it, i'll just comb the hair over it. ended up wearing bins.

Regardless of the gammy eye, she had a beautiful, lazy voice. And you would.

Totally agree mate, he's a scumbag, as is his trainer. Neither of them should have been allowed to work in boxing again, but, if the end result is that Margarito got smashed by Mosley, humbled by Pacman, and then destroyed by Cotto, then justice will have been served in my opinion. If Margarito ends up blind, I won't feel any remorse whatsoever.

I'd feel sorry for any boxer who went blind, caught with aplaster inserts or not but find it unbelievable that it has been left so late for a thorough examination on his eye.Heads should roll.

I have to say, I really like listening to him commentating, Scouse accent aside. Talks a lot of sense, doesn't talk too much and what he says is relevant and interesting. His mate co-commentating should take notes, why use 10 words when 1 will do. He's so far on with some word play or analogy he's rushing so he can get the next set of cumbersome words out and starts interrupting himself.

Basically trying to stir up a bit of controversy.
I also get that, but as the face off progressed, Kellerman clearly attempted to belittle Cotto. He was way out of place IMO and should be reprimanded for it, though i doubt he will be.
Couldn't have read it more differently. I just thought that Kellerman's questions were designed to try and educate the viewers on how Cotto is dealing with the psychological hurdles that people have been openly discussing on the internet since the first fight.
