How's he even managing thinking about dropping more weight? He doesn't look like he could lose any more weight if he tried.

Wow. Didnt see that one coming. I thought he struggled at SBW. BW is a weaker division but big ask to get there.

If by any chance Rendell is struggling at the weight. The pace that Jamie fights at will show him up.

To be honest, i didn't see that coming. But i don't think he'll struggle to make bantamweight as he's on-weight for super-bantam anything up to two weeks before. But time will tell, i suppose.

A surprising decision, he always seemed to be big at Super Bantam and able to use his size advantages. I'm unsure what the motivation behind this is.

I thought if anything he'd step up to feather again, not drop down as he is a huge super-bantam. Clearly Hatton doesn't want him and Quigg in the same weight class, so this is the result, Munroe hasn't looked brilliant since he moved to Hatton, it will be interesting to see how this drop in weight goes.

Suprised, and I don't think a good move. Munroe needs to look at the IBF Super Bantam title - Hatton can focus on Quigg after delivering Munroe that.

He was a bigish Feather, massive at Super Bantam - will be dead at Bantamweight. Even if he does make the weight okay - I fear he will be too slow at the weight.

Josh wale would be a good test for him at bantamweight i dont think he would cope with joshes workrate and pressure. I really cant understand why hes coming down a weight at this stage of his career if he dont struggle making weight why does he train in sweat suits to even make super bantam ?

this sounds ridiculous. if he's changing weights, he should surely be moving up, not down.

is he planning on blasting out some smaller guys?

Last night Victor Terraz beat Fernando Montiel for the WBC Silver title. Terraz had previously been stopped in nine by Munroe. Sod's law!

That result makes him moving down in weight even mire strange. I really like Munroe and hope he does well. I am of the opinon that his trainer is terrible. I have never heard him give good advice in the corner, he is always desperate to get his big puss on camera after a fight, smiling like a loon however the fight has went.

The sooner Munroe gets to a trainer who can maximize his strengths and provide proper gameplans the better.

I think Quigg and McDonnel beat him.

good point. munroe beat a good fighter. but munroe does seem to have hit a wall, because even if he beat terrazas again, he'd have to face nishioka, who hammered and outclassed munroe.
