Re: maccarinelli bill tonight
This bill and the McKenzie bill would not be good enough to be shown on Sky Sports.
Shouldn't allegedly try to put on shows that are at least at the level of the minimum standard that Sky would show?

Add the Byrne v Horta bill and Williams v norton stinker! There been a few before it goes subscription what we quality get like when it does!Horse wrote:This bill and the McKenzie bill would not be good enough to be shown on Sky Sports.

Just. Gethin shred some rust, worked off the jab and though he took a few overhand rights on occasions he was generally in command for a six-round shut-out.Ian 'Mr' McNeilly wrote:Aye, cheers![]()

Re: maccarinelli bill tonight
if simspson didnt pull outit would of been him v selby for the british and commonwealth so thats a good standard main event and next week you've got crolla v limond dont think the friday shows have been that bad
Re: maccarinelli bill tonight
I have barely watched these shows. I watch every domestic Sky show, but this lot was so poor I just couldn't motivate myself to watch more than a few minutes of each of them.leforge wrote:Add the Byrne v Horta bill and Williams v norton stinker! True. Enzo Macc's return would have been fine as a chief support. Certainly Sky have vastly worse shows than Selby-Simpson, the one last week with Vassell for example. This tends to be mostly a hate Warren forum, though
Re: maccarinelli bill tonight
What a surprise, Enzo in a 1 round blowout. Proved what exactly? That he could throw punches at LH? Utterly pointless. Felt good beating on a mismatch? Of course that will help in his fight with Cleverly

Owoh v Conquest fight is interesting enough.
Re: maccarinelli bill tonight
Shouldn't have stopped the Maccarinelli fight so early but good dust up between Conquest and Owoh.
Frankie Bulioni highlight of the night, is definitely one to watch!

Re: maccarinelli bill tonight
Can anyone tell me how the main event has been going up until round seven? Thank you.
Re: maccarinelli bill tonight
Yes, I'm sure it must seem like that seeing as the criticism doesn't really appear anywhere else. Apart from Eastside.gobbles wrote:diggler wrote:if simpson didnt pull out it would of been him v selby for the british and commonwealth so thats a good standard main event and next week you've got crolla v limond dont think the friday shows have been that bad

Re: maccarinelli bill tonight
Marc Callaghan is a fighter who completely slipped under the radar for me. I had to do a double take when I saw his record. It only seemed like yesterday that he beat Ian Napa and retired after the Pickering loss for the British title.
Re: maccarinelli bill tonight
I did say this a few weeks ago. He is talented. Interesting to see how he goes.jabnmove wrote:Frankie Bulioni highlight of the night, is definitely one to watch!

I've been watching Eurosport and Hatton. Round nine and Smigga, who is doing colour commentary, said he has Conquest winning every round so far.Podmore_Birmingham wrote:Can anyone tell me how the main event has been going up until round seven? Thank you.

Re: maccarinelli bill tonight
Conquest well in front going into the last round.
Re: maccarinelli bill tonight
Conquest a very comfortable winner. Toks did well to stay in there, but the levels of fitness was the difference.
Re: maccarinelli bill tonight
I don't bother reading any other forums. Bunce's endless plugging of Eastside on his one-man comedy hour put me off ever going there.Ian 'Mr' McNeilly wrote:Yes, I'm sure it must seem like that seeing as the criticism doesn't really appear anywhere else. Re: maccarinelli bill tonight
A lot of the posters on ESB are top notch, but you have to weed through a bit of shite which could put lots of people off.
If I had found this place first I'd probably agree, but I remember the ESB class of 2008, with lots of quality posters joining at the same time and making for a really good group.
The site owner is obviously in it for the money, allowing trolls, aliases and ''the random picture dude'' to create havoc all over the place.
I can understand Steve plugging ESB more though because the lads on there are more likely to have the craic with him than they are here.

He's a right miserable twat is stato. Met him in the races in new york when we went to see calzaghe jones, gave him a bit of a cheer calling him stato and the miserable prick ignored us and looked at us like a piece of shit when he left.steve689 wrote:Stattoooooo![]()
