What does this mean? do the judges show favoritism for certain fighters? This will be my first year attending California Silver Gloves

Yea they show favoritism you have to figure that 90 percent of officials are the coaches and relatives of fighters so if your club doesn't bring officials with you your screwed

maybe you should spend more time teaching your kids to box and less time teaching them to make excuses.maybe then you might win a few.

Please give me the names of the officials who are coaches and relatives. And, trust me, the few officials we have who are coaches will not work their own boxers or their boxers age and weightclasses or any boxers in their club. I believe, also, that a coach will have to determine whether or not he or she will coach or officiate at the State tournament - won't be able to do both.

Looks to me like Boxingcoach80 is probably 12 or 13 years old. 8)

Hmmm - had a change of heart, eh? :yay: Neutrality was used throughout the tournament. For instance, if you had a Northern California vs. Southern California boxer, two judges each from Northern and Southern and one neutral (Cal Border) were scheduled. Worked really well.

Yes - providing the other states have officials who will come to the tournament.
