I think Bute is better than all of the super 6
The rest I agree with.

Exactly! I'm incredulous at the two of you on this thread saying Froch to be honest. Here's a tough-as-nails Brit who's willing to go into opponent's back-yards and fight for genuine titles. Hasn't ever ducked anyone and put in some great performances. Makes me question how anyone who's a true fan of British boxing can want to see him KO'ed.josh fg wrote:Don't understand those who want to see froch KOed he seems a nice guy has fought everyone out there and won propper titles, what more do we want from british fighters.

Surprised how long it took someone to say Mayweather, I'd love to see him humbled, and the only way would be a KO defeat I think!
Equally surprised to see people say Pacman! I know Marquez deserved the win recently, but it's hardly Pacquiao's fault is it? He just fought, he didn't do the judging etc.

I'll refrain from KOd, but I'd like to see Amir Khan beat Timothy Bradley, if Bradley suddenly grows a pair & is man enough to face Amir in the ring.

Billy Dib (because of his fight against Kenichi Yamaguchi)
Either Klitschko (because it'll be entertaining)
Margarito (because I'd like Cotto to beat him by TKO)

Agreeing with the incredulity over Froch. He's a real fighter's fighter and a top bloke - okay he does the big talk but he never oversteps the mark (like Haye).
Who would I like to see knocked out? Richard Towers. Just to hear the cheesy commentary. "AND TOWERS HAS CRUMBLED TO THE FLOOR!!!" "WILL TOWERS EVER BE ABLE TO REBUILD HIS CAREER FROM THE WRECKAGE OF THIS NIGHT?" "TOWERS HAS A LONG WAY TO GET BACK TO THE TOP..." You get the point.
However if it's that lame Channel 5 commentator, he'll probably mangle the whole shebang... "AND TOWERS HAS COLLAPSED LIKE... err... A FALLEN OAK TREE!!!?"

Totally agree fella's. Wanting to see Froch get KO'd after all he's done over the last few years makes you wonder how some people can call themselves boxing fans.Deserter wrote:Exactly! Re: silly question..who do you want to see KO'd in 2012?
I don't know why but I really want to see Khan knocked out. I supported him throughout his Olympic run and during his early pro fights but for some reason I want to see him lose badly in a major fight although I know I should be supporting him.
I also think it's madness for people to want Froch ko'd when he's consistently been one of the most entertaining British fighters in recent times.

Re: silly question..who do you want to see KO'd in 2012?
I've never liked Froch since he was piggy backing off Calzaghe's name.
Yes, he is tough and goes abroad to fight and hasn't had many breaks promotionally. However, I don't like him. He's one of these guys, like Tyson Fury, who thinks he's much better than he is and goes on and on and on about it feeding us bullshit like he's the best p4p sportsman in the country!
And because he has gone abroad, everyone overhypes his record. He got beat up by a feather fisted middleweight in Jermaine Taylor before he ran out of gas. He got a home town decision against Dirrell; clearly lost to Kessler (who lost to Calzaghe - this defeat I suspect hurt him badly) then cried foul of a hometown decision and brushes it under the carpet now he's 'the best super middleweight in the world' bollocks.
Then he beats Abraham, a guy whose only SMW victory had been a good shot against Taylor, after getting pummled all night. Then beats a 42 year old who was 4-3 in the previous 7 fights.
He's done well, no doubt about it, but he's no p4p fighter. It's a competative division, but it's not, and no where near as strong as he makes out and he'd be lucky to be in the top 3 (Kessler, Ward and Bute).
This is purely my opinion and viewpoint; perhaps I'm biased as I don't like him, but I do give him credit for fighting abroad throughout the latter part of his career; I just don't believe he's an elite boxer (though I don't dispute he is some entertaining fights. Let's not forget, he's involved in some stinkers too though.

Re: silly question..who do you want to see KO'd in 2012?
I will be sat in a hotel in Helsinki with an expensive local beer willing Cotto to brutally KO Margarito.
Re: silly question..who do you want to see KO'd in 2012?
Saying you want Carl Froch knocked out because "you dont like him" is fair enough.Finch wrote:I don't like him.
But to blather on and on and on about his career, and the achievements he has done in just 29 fights in one of the deepest divisions in recent years just makes you look exactly what you actually are.
I'd like you to now hang yourself by telling everyone about this big list of "stinkers" that he is personally responsible for.
Re: silly question..who do you want to see KO'd in 2012?
Great post, i can't wait for Ward to highlight how average Froch really is.Finch wrote:I've never liked Froch since he was piggy backing off Calzaghe's name.

Froch is one of the biggest moaners in boxing and acts as though the British public should be bowing to him where ever he goes, his rant a few weeks ago that he's fed up with British people for not supporting him enough so he's going to live in America instead...well fornicate off then.
Yes he's done very well in his boxing career considering his limited talent but some people make him out to be fighting All time greats every fight...come on FFS.
He won Calzaghes hand me down vacant title over Pascal, a guy with a record made up of beating hand picked bums up till that point although to be fair he's improved since. Pavlik ruined Taylor so Froch benefitted from that, Dirrel beat him but he got a home town decision, Kessler beat him, he beat Abraham but Dirrell got there first, he beat old man Johnson who lets face it past his best and Ward will absolutely SMASH him.
The British public dosen't like him, the BBC and ITV tried and failed to market him, Sky are having no luck either because he just rubs every one up the wrong way.
