Audley Harrison on Facebook going on about Tyson Fury should be disciplined by the BBBC for his comments. Made a few posts about it along those lines but don't know what he said. Anyone know?

you can see how this will go though, fury will respond on twitter or something telling audley to mind his own business, audley will say something about fury being fat, fury will say something about sticking to dancing on tv, audley will respond, then before you know it the fights signed!

Some debate over whether @Tyson_Fury is genuine, but @janecouchmbe seems to think it is.

The original tweet has been removed from Tysons timeline, but it was there an hour or so ago. If it's true it's a massive disaster Tyson and meaty mick - not sure how C5 could justify their support of him. If true.

if true then he should be disciplined, same as when I pulled out of the chisora fight ill and he called me the c word and a black pussy. This is part of the reason why the general public don't care about boxing. They see this behaviour and think well they are boxers so have no sense, thats all they can do and so on and alot of boxers perpetuate this. u don't see this behaviour in other individual sports like tennis and such and it seems that boxing is the only sport where this behaviour is acceptable.

machoman with hayes fighting style he would have been the same star anyway. Tyson only really started all the verbals when he got with Don King but b4 that he was getting plenty of press cause of what he was doing in the ring. So I think people can do the talking but do it in an intelligent way so that the real casuals who don't follow the sport would be more inclined to watch. Works for tennis

A good bit of verbals can help to build a fight and done right can be quite amusing. But there is a line that shouldn't be crossed. It's a hazy, indeterminate line but anything that could be deemed hateful is probably best avoided by anyone in the public eye.

In this case, it seems that Fury came in for some abuse from this other guy (not audley) relating to his traveller heritage and he responded with the tweet posted above. That it's now been deleted is proof enough that whoever owns the Tyson_Fury account deemed it worth removing.

The fact that it was directed at a member of the public rather than a sporting rival is what makes it so bad (if the account is legit). It's one thing slagging off another boxer - almost par for the course, if you remove the racial aspect - but directing an insult like that at a fan (even if he's not a fan of yours) is a big no-no.

It's simple, the guy is a fat disgrace and what he has said is racist IMO!! Why put black cock? Why not just cock? Is black cock worse than white cock or brown cock? Don't worry, my man Amir Mansour will knock Fury into next week if Hennessy has the balls to match his pudding against Amir on March 17th at the MSG.

He'll probably just say it's not his twitter account or that someone else runs it for him and he had nothing to do with the comments so doubt anything will be done.

Unfortunately there's alot of false information and defamation of character going on over the internet about certain boxers even on boxrec and i've had to interject to stop it against Amir Mansour.

I don't think people understand that libel laws have now changed and now includes comments made over the internet even by someone with a made up name as on here. Infact we've seen recently how people have actually gone to prison for 'incitement to violence' on Facebook.

problem is that the tweet has been deleted and I can't imagine the BBBC stumping up for the lawyers required to get Twitter to release details of deleted messages.

There is a fundamental difference between "your mother sucks cock" and "your mother sucks black cock" when trying to insult someone. It's all about context and in this context, it is certainly racist. It may not have been the real Tyson Fury though.
