George Foreman Tournament - 1 Day Mash Up

Post by allworld80 »

Big George has been removed from Hitman's camp due to neglect, and a 1 day tourney, off the books of course, will decide who gets him for the remaining 9 weeks.

You may only enter one fighter, and it must be your first round pick from the draft. Tourney will be run before week 32.

Sign up here.

Confirmed

Ingemar Johansson
Joe Jeannette
Riddick Bowe
Harry Wills
Evander Holyfield
James Braddock

So whoever already has the best fighter out of us gets to have another good fighter. That doesn't make much sense.

Well not really. Technically speaking Holyfield or Stribling should have won the Prizefighter tourney, but both lost 1st round. And I doubt we'll see many if any of the elite level fighters enter. Formean has been very up and down this season.

Bowe will enter. Assume this counts for in the rankings also? And i technically didn't have a first round pick so I'll throw my best in

Shut up, or we will send THE ROCK over to collect Foreman. And then of course THE ROCK will retire and we will build another legacy this season.

Won't count for anything other than the winner getting Foreman. Strictly off the books.

This tourney doesn't effect this weeks matchups and the winner gets Foreman starting in week 32.

GBP understands that some people will simply not accept too much success in too short of a period of time. It's likely that Braddock wants to keep his life simple and unfettered because he desires to focus purely on one prize and one prize only, that of an inconsequential belt of some sort.

However we at GBP have been hard at work developing an alternative solution we fill will serve the purpose quite nicely.

Commish please accept Gentlemen Jim Corbett as Jame's Braddock's replacement, allowing this contest to move forward briskly, efficiently, and without hesitation or interruption.

Unless the record is in error, Jim was actually our first draft choice.

Yeah....that's the ticket.

I didn't get a first round pick as I started a few weeks back. However if allowed, Braddock is in.
