Boxrec small hall shows

Post by rhino222 »

who off the forum would be interested in joining a syndicate to promote small hall shows, i have no idea at present how many people would be interested in spilling out a few quid but im sure there is enough boxing savvy around to minimise costs.... we could provide whip and matchmaking too!!!

Rhino, I might be interested in the whips and matchmaking services you're offering, sounds like my kind of thing, but not the boxing business.
im sure a group of us could throw in a few hundred quid a couple of times per year.

I think it's a good idea, very difficult to pull off, but a good idea. I'd like to hear more.

when i go pro , i plan on involving the boxrec community on a show every so often , maybe once per year , as i know ill be using the resource of the brains of you guys from time to time so will be my way of paying you all back , not fully thought through how id do it yet but its an idea ive had in my head for a while .

maybe if rhinos idea comes off then id be willing to head it up too , again when ive turned pro though so idea could be dead by then but if its still running id be willing to maybe put the boxrec card on the undercard of a show or something , i think main issue would be that people are unlikely to want to invest enough to make it do able .

not gonna keep going on about my wanting to turn pro , im sure people would eventually tire of it and think im talking crap so unless i need to ill keep shut until it actually happens

Forget about doing the show yourself just sponsor an event, the promoter will be very grateful I'm sure.
