The one disease that boxing has is GREED the lust for money (or power) which oftentimes deprives us of potentially world-shattering encounters, the most recent of which is Floyd Maywather and Manny Pacquaio not facing each other in the fabled ring of combat.
Recognising this, Don Krease took it upon himself to make contact with the rogue known only as "BoxBuzz" in a bold attempt to make the titanic bouts happen, namely:
Louis vs Marciano.
It had been discussed in public before and accusations were rife both ways. Marciano refused a mandatory challenge against Joe Louis. And Joe himself declined prospective fights against Rocky in the past because he understandably refused to relinquish his World Title.
We freely admit that our previous contact with the GoldenBuzz company have often left us frustrated & irritated due toi their insufferable demands time and time and time again which ultimately resulted in Rocky Marciano and Joe Louis not facing off.
But despite previous negotiations collapsing Don Krease in recent weeks has shouldered the bourden to make this fight happen. And upon announcement he had only this to say:
"We have an opportunity here today. An opportunity to arrange & deliver a titanic struggle, which could be the first of a few that we will witness. I believe that as a Manager and a Promoter, we all OWE it to the boxingsim public to organise the great fights that people want to see."
"If Managers don't take the hard fights and match the great fighters against each other... Then there is really no point in being a Manager at all.
