I don't have one at home, but i would get one of those ones that you bolt to the wall, rather than the ones you stick between a door frame.

Maybe use slightly longer screws than the ones that it comes with-Other then that should be ok.

These are good. They don't require any fixings or screws and it folds flat when not in use. Only thing is you need to have a very sturdy door frame.

Made my own pull up bar outside. Tried weighted pull ups last night - managed 2 with 5kg.

Hope to get to 5 in a coupla weeks.

I've got a ledge that overhangs my stairs at home that I do pullups off, gives me maybe 2 inches worth of purchase to grip on. develops evil grip strength as well as lats

its just a narrow ledge so i can't curl my thumbs round to get purchase, its just my fingers holding on. it really hurts the forearms at first and at first your grip struggles to keep up with your lat strength. best grip exercise i ever did outside of deadlifts

I use the one called Door Gym. It goes over the top frame of the door and uses no screws or bolts.
