Just doing my duty and informing all that the site is back up...I've changed my mind now though. Oh well, maybe next time.

Apparently - and I'm not sure if this is bollocks! One of the eastern heavies that came over was unhappy with the stoppage at the conclusion of his fight! He stormed back to the changing room barging the reporter who shall remain nameless out of the way! The reporter then followed the heavyweight (who is noted for their durability) back to the changing room - some words were exchanged and the reporter knocked him out. Like I said it could be exaggerated but it seems that a certain reporter who shall remain nameless does seem to carry a fairly dangerous left hook!

I've had FOUR goes at registering. I entered my SKY card details and was told there was an error. On the 2nd, 3rd and 4th times my attempts to create a Pay Wizard account failed due to an 'unknown error'. I didn't even get far enough to enter my payment details - perhaps a blessing in disguise. My Pay Wizard account couldn't be created the first time because of an error to my answer to my security question. I entered that my mother's maiden name was 'Wild' but was told I couldn't enter this because the name had to be 'five digits or more'. Seriously???

I then entered another security question relating to my school and filled out the form, AGAIN (twice), only to receive the message 'unknown error' AGAIN. It shouldn't be this hard and I don't have the time and patience to keep trying. Your loss because unless you get diehards like me on board, and quickly, you'll fold.
this tsakes it to a new level not only are ya barred fromthe promtion you are barred fomr the tv channel also Benno....big brother is watching...

My dad signed-up because I threatened him (a day's Xmas shopping with my mum or six months with Fwank - he chose Fwank)

The wife will watch it from the upstairs bedroom where she now resides with an endless supply of Quavers and Blue Nun, I've signed-up (obviously), the neighbours have in a deal that involves me feeding their cat while they're on a long weekend in Honiton, and yesterday, on helping an old lady across the road, she offered me £60 as a thank you.

I asked her to keep it, and not give it to charity, but to instead subscribe to Box Ration (rationing boxing from 2011 to ... forever) which she promised to do.

Au Revoir

I'm still in two minds. Their schedule (not actually seemingly published on their website?) over the next few weeks/months is fairly sparse. The whole no refunds thing is a bit of a weird one.

I like the Cotto/Tony fight and am mildly curious about Chisora/Helenius.

I looked on allegedly, it's not on there. fw.tv doesn't have it either? I don't want to know what FW shows are coming up, I want to know what the channel's showing.

Ok so it's on there now. Lot of TBA between now and the end of January.

For once in my life signing up to something went smoothly. I logged on, typed in my bits and bobs, got registered and the channel is running fine. Nothing I do related to technology ever goes as smoothly so my Sky box will probably explode just as Cotto is starting tonight.

If this channel is to succeed then it needs subscribers which may be hard to come by. So they need to give themselves the best possible chance and 'runtime errors' and difficult registering procedures that others have experienced will not help matters.

Come on allegedly...get the IT crowd in :TU:

I'M IN!!

I've had no problems signing up (he says trying not to tempt fate), but Skys total and utter incompetence with technical issues has left me wary, so I won't rest easy til the first bell sounds

Just signed up too, Great night between the Heavies in Finland and then onto the cracking looking Cotto bill. With Rios' weight troubles it could turn into a thriller if Murray can gut it out till the later rounds and Wolak on the undercard is always in a good tear up.
I'd pay £10 if this was a standalone bill ala Primetime PPV

I didn't say it's going to do well. I just find it funny that so many people came in here slagging the channel and the owner off saying this and that and they're signing up anyway. I expected them too because they're fans of the sport and he has some good fights this month, just don't see why we had to go through all the kicking screaming.

A dedicated boxing channel is a good idea. It might not work with just one promoter, but this is a starting point. Whether you like it or not the only way something like this will get off the ground is if we, the fans, support it.
I treated tonight fight like a ppv if I had to subcribe for 6 months I would not have done it. If you look at boxing figures even on sports channel its very poor this is why I think it will fail in the long run you need new people to watch your sport otherwise the sport will suffer. A fan of the sport does not have to pay for this channel if they don't want to many on here don't have sky they watch by other means.
