Hi all! After reading the undercard report from the York hall, I just thought id make a point or two. Firstly, while I'm not at all upset with anyone over this. The report said that I'm easy to beat & don't throw many punches. I've had one or two punchups in the last few months , also a couple of harsh decisions. I'm sure a lot of boys I've had hard fights with would disagree that I'm an easy job. I had the tom tits all day sat, and was a lot smaller than Phillips. He's a good fighter ,v Sharp. I would've been foolish to open up too much & leave myself open to stoppage. On a more level field I always fight hard

Johnny,not being funny dude but your record dosent lie&proves your easy to beat.Yes you have boxed some good people,but most of the time your fighting newcomers who are not accomplished amateurs..One of your last oppenents someone said on here there seen them on a white collar show&he was piss poor&he beat you... If you want people to think any differant take a look at your fights that your being offered&pick&chose...Look at James Tucker,yes he lost his last one,but won 3 on the bounce....

Look pal I know what your saying. Against griffiths in Portsmouth , he came in 7 pounds heavy. Fouled from the first bell . I never lost that. Had photographer with me & I'm being impeaded in nearly every other photo. Look I'm not saying I'm great. Not having a go at the reporter ,just that I make all my opponents work for their wins. I feel I should have been given ,the nod against quite a few of the boys. No records don't lie, they just don't tell the full story. They ain't gonna but I just thought I'd say

Fair enough Johnny,i admire you i wouldnt fancy getting hit for a living(f*ck that) i boxed from the age of 11-16yr old,loved every minute of it,but i never really had the confidence&at 16 i started getting hurt more&more as we got bigger so i got out
Im not slating you what so ever,just saying pick&chose your fights&give it a real go pal,i know your go say if you pick up a few wins the bouts will dry up,so be it..Just give it 12/18months&see how you get on,you might get a masters or area bout who knows,if it dosent then drop back into the journeyman mode

Anyone who thinks that Johnny is easy to beat does not known boxing and fails to realise what the job of the journeyman is and how poorly they are often treated by refs when facing the local ticket selling prospect.

Johnny, guys like you keep the game alive. Writers will write wit they want, plus most ov them havent lased up a pair.( wit dae they no!) As you no, its managers that keep you winning, plus winning dosent put food on the table. Av boxed a good few journeymen, no not all came to have a go, n that you do. Keep it real, never mind wits wrote.
